How to Eject From Titan Prematurely?

What makes you think it's possible? I've never seen anyone eject before their Titan was doomed.

You should stick it out until it's doomed anyways, because you never know what will happen. Hell just 20 minutes ago I had 1/2 a health block (BLOCK, not bar) and no shield and managed to take on 2 enemy Titans at once, and won. It was amazing. I wouldn't want to trade a moment like that for a cheap trick. This is probably the first shooter ever made that rewards skill and tactics over button mashing and pure luck.

 

It is possible. I do it all the time.

Hit up on the D pad and tap X three times.

 

I have been wondering how to do this. Another reason you might want to do this: Pilot on your back 2 Titans near you. You cant jump out to get the monkey off your back, and you arent going to win against two titans with a pilot on your back (at least if you are me you are not going to win). so you eject and destroy all of them.

 

Very good point. It's funny because I read your post and the very next game I played I was put in that situation. Hit up on the d-pad, tapped x 4 times, and lol'd.

 

So if you eject early like this you still blow up? Your titan doesn't just go into auto-titan mode?

 

If you hold X, you will exit your Titan and it will go into Auto-TItan mode.

If you press up on the D-pad and tap X 4 times t eject, it will explode.

 

Wow, I didn't know about the "up" on d-pad and tap x 4 times...gotta try that one!!!

 

You have to eject to shoot other Pilots off your back unless you have the electric smoke thing. There's no other way around that scenario, unless of course your buddy shoots the pilot off your back.

You have to exit, but not eject. We are talking about ejecting like when it's doomed.

 

The other posters are definitely correct. i gave the tapping x 4 times while holding up on the d-pad and it worked. i dont know what happens if you do this and you dont have your titan equipped to explode.

I tried this and killed 2 full titans. Was enough to get my new titan immediately. Just a tip

 

lol, just squat and stay still for a second. 99% of time, they assume you're getting out to shoot them and jump off. Then you have an easy target.

 

I used the UP on the d-pad technique a lot when I was going for the kill people in midair challenge... as soon as I got rodeo'd.. I'd eject and look up and to the left and take them out in midair before they knew what was even happening.

 

This is my favourite move.

 

Does the "crouch and the rodeo pilot thinks you've exited" move actually work?

 

I've never actually tried that but I'm gonna have to now.

 

Cheap trick? ...you're a Jackass if you think ejection is a "cheap trick".
