So I'm Gen8 working on the Lookout Below! Challenge - and I've noticed that sometimes, despite being in say AN OPEN FIELD, when I call for my Titan to land on a group of grunts or specters or players etc...it will sometimes go a good thirty feet away and leave me wondering how it could go wrong when I point straight at the spot!? Anyone else have this issue??
I found this challenge to be quite time consuming and rewarding at the same time. In order to really nail down the area in which you want your Titan to land, you must be aiming at the feet or the ground next to grunts. Do not try aim at their head, body or leg because the game will think you are aiming at some where else you don't want. Also try aiming for grunt & specter drop pods or try shootting at the ground next to them, it will immobilize them and you will most certainly have an easy target. Best of luck with the challenge!
It's a great challenge, just frustrating when I ADS at their feet at the Titan falls elsewhere and it's an open area
I had the exact same issue. Sometimes even aiming at my feet it would move slightly to the left or right. It was annoying, but I didn't mind because you will get the challenge easily on the way to 100 wins.
Yeah I've had this, sure I point there next thing you know Titan's parked two blocks over. Don't worry to much lower gen's well bitch about it and next update it be 5
My titan accidentally landed on a spectre pod once and got stuck until it was destroyed it was funny and frustrating.
Sound advice, I'll give it a shot myself after several failed attempts... I thought I just had terrible accuracy in general.
It just happened again - aim at their feet in the wide open and the Titan falls somewhere else that isn't even in the field of vision!! Wtf Respawn!?
Yea. I point at feet and the thing lands elsewhere. Pretty frustrating. In lucky to get 2/game. That's even with aiming straight down on auto titans. Rarely hits.
