I wish they would make the challenges less reliant on other peoples choices and performance. For example win 100 matches and titan executions . I can't be the number one player on my team and win the match by myself. As far as the executions go. They have changed it so that if you try to execute an auto titan it doesn't count. So now I have to both hope that they stay in there titans and don't choose auto eject, which everyone does.
Winning matches is only 8th gen, getting mvp is 9th gen. To win matches either play campain or stick with a lobby that is winning. For mvp the only thing is to play campain and pull ahead from the others or just play in a mode that you are best at. It sounds hard n time consuming but u will eventually get it. Not all pilots have auto eject so you just have to find the lobby of people that dont auto eject. Youll get it dude, but it will take time n hard work.
Definitely gonna be a slow grind for me. But it is going to be a challenge. Got to remember that it is, "doable."
Gen 9 will be hell. 50 pilot kills with Kraber, MVP challenge, the worst is the 50... PLASMA RAILGUN CRITS
I got all 50 crits in Frontier Defense in about 2 hours...easy peasy..., also I play in the mornings on the weekends when all the kids with no thumbs are on, I have almost cleared the MVP challenge having only just started it a week or so ago...the Kraber however, well it is awful, having to lead yr shots with it is pretty difficult, so I do feel your pain with that one.
Im a gen 7 (pretty easy challenges) but I feel like I might skip the MVP challenges in Gen 9. I WILL do the Kraber cause I have never used that weapon a lot but MVP... errr. Does frontier defense MVP count?
I know this is old but... Gooser was my least favorite challenge... and all I had to do was 5, much respect to the guys... and gals that completed this.
You just need a chaingun and high sensitivity. I play on low currently so it is physically impossible to track the target when ADSing while they are falling. The secret to goosers is high sensitivity and chaingun.
Gen 9 Kraber was the challenge I was least looking forward to having avoided Kraber completely until Gen 9. I did it in 4 games and found it insanely fun. Probably my favourite challenge ever because it was so pleasantly surprising. Now I use Kraber sometimes, especially as my first loadout! The most annoying challenge for me is Gen 9: the one where you punch inside a titan as an Ogre, ripping off the arms first, then slamming the pilot off the ground (can't remember what it's called). The Ogre is too slow to get to the doomed titan most times.
Positioning & timing are key. You can hang on the fringes during titan fights doing your damage and pounce at your opportunity when it comes.
