The last 15 kicked my AZZ. The very last one took me almost 20 matches to get......talk about frustrating....lol But I got it! Finally.. And now......when you see me sporting my new insignia...thou shall beware! I am all that is man!
@KernelClamjuice ... Way to go KernelCJ. I'm aiming for that one too. It's a long term goal for me (I need 44 more). Though not as long-term as getting the insignia for CTF... I only need 88 more flag captures. I'll keep an eye out for you.
Way to go both of you. I am still quite a ways off from either of those. The only edge for me is that I love CTF. It is soooo intense. I think CTF calls upon all the skills at the most advanced level and is awesome. I like the fact that getting killed has less weight than the flag captures. Communications and playing with at least one buddy with a mic really helps.
So @A4eaTransformer... since you love CTF solo much, I've just volunteered you (whenever time permits of course) to show or at least share some of that treasure trove of CTF knowledge that you possess....ok buddy, pal and friend.
Haha buddy. I said I loved it , not that I was good at it. Being spastic and unpredictable and a big chicken hyped up on adrenaline seems to be my big secret. BUT...having a coordinated buddy with a Titan to ride on through the chaos of maurading pilots helps lots. Start saving your Titan replacement burn cards and let's kick some butt. I will let you know when I get chance to play next. Love my grandson...more baby sitting this weekend.
Maaaannn.......ive only ever gotten one! Thats the only challenge I bought out with forged certification....I CANNOT see an ejaculating pilot... ...(can you not melee him and it count?)
See, there is the problem right there. Leave those pitifully perverted pud pounding pilots alone and in peace to handle their business and don't worry about them. Instead, you should concentrate only on those pilots that are ejecting instead. A well timed punch might count I guess if you could hit them before they land. If you miss...ejaculate on them.
My stats suffered, not that I really cared; but the trick is to sit back hit em with the Chain Gun and hopefully get the kill while your buds are beating the crud out of them.....putting rounds on them will give you at least a Titan Assist, which will then make you aware of when the pilot will soon be ejecting..which will allow you to get situated.. Sit back wait for them to eject and position your sights right at the point where they peak before falling back down. I love the guys that hit their boosters or jet packs to try and get away....It just gives you more opportunity and a second chance to get the GOOSER!
@KernelClamjuice over the past few weeks I've been doing that and have noticed alot of improvement. Only 25 more to go!
I'm not sure what Titan Weapon you use but you may want to consider this....it worked very well for me. I'm a XO16 Chaingun Guy....I use it like there is no tomorrow. I do not use the Rapid Accelerator Mod.....it's harder to aim in the beginning and it's not precise enough to shoot a couple of rounds at a Grunt or Spectre; especially a Pilot.. Every once in awhile....I'd switch it up to the Quad Rocket.......tear it up a bit and Cause Havoc. (atleast thats what I felt inside) I'd use it for about 10-15 games......then.......switch back to the Chain Gun.. Pow......I was racking up like 2 or 3 Goosers a game......I felt even more confident using it than usual. It worked for me....give it a try......
The road to GEN 10 is paved with joy and pain. And lots of tedious (but rewarding) things to do. It's getting you prepared for T2 next year.
