Whoa, big news here for Titanfall 2's release date. It looks like MePlay has leaked that Titanfall 2 will release on August 30th for PS4, Xbox One & PC. The image you see above is on their site, but it's using the old Titanfall images and not any new screenshots at this point. Take this with a grain of salt, but if this is true.. wow, that's way earlier than I expected to see the game release. Do you guys think this leaked release date is legit? [edit] - It should be noted that EA stated that Titanfall 2 would be releasing in its Q3 period, and August 30th wouldn't be in Q3 for them last time I checked. I'd remain skeptical, but it seems like it's still a possibility. I'd be banking on a November release if it were me though.
mmmm...not sure, late October early November does seem to be far more likely...although there wouldn't be a whole bunch of big shooters out then I wouldn't think..
I'm on an emotional rollercoaster waiting on TF2. As long as it gets here before Santa, then I'm okay with it.
I can see respawn trying to push the date ahead with news of a confirmed date for #ripcod but... There's no real competition between now and xmas other than Battlefield and #ripcod so whatever the date is I don't think it matters anyways.
That's why I am filing this under rumor and not posting this at all. 1. August/Sept is the worst month to even release a game. MGSV got lucky in that regard. If it was a "no-name" company releasing a game in Sept, they'd be dead on arrival. Respawn is now established, but they're nowhere at Infinity Ward's level at the moment. They don't have that kind of "get out of jail" card to release a title in Aug/Sept. Just. No. 2. Battlefield has its own niche. A niche that isn't really shared with another brand, so I don't think the hype for TitanFall 2 will be killed off just because Battlefield 1 is being released in November (yes, I am agreeing with @WhoIsDo here - bank on a November release.) 3. C'mon. This is a fucking no-brainer. You'd launch TitanFall in November to be in the middle of that holiday rush madness. Hopefully Electronic Arts isn't that stupid enough to release a HUGE FPS title in August/Sept. I surely hope EA isn't that stupid. That's what it seems like.... ....Well, it's a no-name company trying to bank on the Titanfall excitement, it sounds like.
here is something from Reddit... https://www.reddit.com/r/titanfall/comments/4kvyi7/new_titanfall_2_information/
