In the image above, you'll see a screencap from the latest Titanfall 2 trailer. What you see is a Titan that's flying through the air and shooting at two different air vehicles. Granted, this is a single player trailer... but could we be seeing flying Titans for multiplayer too?! My assumption is that we won't see flying Titans in multiplayer for Titanfall 2 because it would break the balance of the game. However, that being said, I'm hoping there's some sort of cool flying mechanic in single player that we get to at least try out.
If balanced with weaker armour and weaker weapons, I think there could be a place for it in multiplayer!
am hopping to see more info on this new Titan (TONE) and what features it has that and hoping that the 40 MM and the chain gun makes a come back that and i hope to see more Titan variants than 6 don't get me wrong within reason i would have love to see the Titan fall 1 Titans in the game line up but we shall see how they balance this all . or even a SMG Titan Weapon compact am all in for weapon design i like the future concept but still rugged in design . one of my most loved weapon design in a future concept game is the gun from killzone 2 and 3 the M4 variant bullpop i like how they take real world modern time weapons and mix it up with some cool designs .
Glad others noticed this! What if this is another core mode for a yet to be released Titan? Maybe you can't attack while this is activated and its main purpose is to escape a massive conflict through flight.. Or even get to the other side of the map fast. Possibly the only means to attack in this mode is the secondary weaponry such as missiles, rockets etc.
I don't think that you'll see that in MP and I doubt you'll even be able to control it in SP. I think it may be some background action in certain missions.
I saw this in the trailer as well I'm glad I wasn't the only one to catch it. I think it might be in mulitplayer. If you look at the new Titans line up you see 3 more shadowed Titans one of them has those two long booster like devices sticking up and it's a Stryder style frame too like the pic above. I don't think it'll be full flight model because that would in balance the game but maybe a wall running or super jump Titan? What you think?
I can actually see a titan that can have more mobility through those boosters by being able to dash more often and can jump over or on top of buildings. Its core being able to be in flight for a short time to deal some damage from a distance.
I wonder now if the dome shield as different colors corresponding to which titan is being used. Red for Scorch, Olive for Legion, Blue for Ronin, etc.
