Playing a game of LTS, enemy Ronin with one bar health remaining eats up my whole rocket salvo point blank, lives and executes me 3 seconds later...
    WTF TF2!

Game goes to 5, we start the 5th down a titan and it's 1v1, I'm doomed and the other Tone has 1 bar, 1 pilot alive on both teams. I doom him and we're all tied up with just under a minute remaining. I got my core, I got my wall and I know where he's at. Good shit!

    Disconnected from game...

WTF TITANFAIL 2 WT ACTUAL F

    yep
the "Titan damage system" is not working 100% right, how can it be a ronin resists a lot of shoots from termite lancher and destrys a Scorch with the sword?
or tone destroys all titans with no effort
aut when i use a tone they destroy it easily i don't even us my titan for a few seconds

Legion is overpowered, that's for sure, the one using it, destroys all titans with no problem and it's the most simple titan

but when i use it, an Ion destroys it with the rifle, wtf

Tone, Scorch and Legion should have the exact same health bar and resistance

Northstar sjhould have more health and resistance,

and maybe an optional automatic weapons for Ronin, Tone, Scorch and Northstar

    Sorry....that's a crock...........I disagree with you. Respectfully.

Scorch is the most OP thing in the game.

I run with Legion....the thing is so slow it's pitiful...especially when u don't run with any boost.

The Scorch on the other hand can simply pound on the ground like donkey kong....when I have full health and a shield.........and I get terminated.....

No other Titan has that ability...

Getting back to your original comment about Legion being OP. No way. No how....

I'm level 45 in my Legion and if you think it's the most simple Titan to use then we will have to agree on disagreeing...

When they nerfed the Legion they wrecked it. It's so slow it should be powerful to make up for its lack of mobility.

Perhaps the Legion should have a Power Punch. Not a load out ....but just an awesome Titan Punch. Because it's so slow it needs something to get other Titans off of it. The Power Shot doesn't do the job...

The Scorch has an ability to take out a Legion by simply putting its fire shield up and walking into it. If my shield is up and I'm in the middle of firing.....the AI won't lower the shield so I can Melee.....I am at the Mercy of the Legion. I try to walk away but can't and the fire wall shield thingy just kills u......might as well eject.

Biggest issue with Legion is the shield. Once the shield is up...you walk like you are in quick sand....and you can't Do anything until the shield down.

If a scorch or anything else jumps on you and starts to Melee you while the shield is up you can do nothing until the shield comes down.

You can't put it up and take it down as you wish...

The shield is utterly useless on the legion...barely does nothing.

The game as a whole sucks and is way the fuck out of balance.

I think people get pissed off at the Legion because it is strong.....but it's not OP. People want to use the Legion but they don't have the patience to learn it because it's so slow........Then because they don't want to put the time in start to bash it..

I love you Battle. You and Kernel just have that special way of putting things that really makes me laugh. :)

Sounds like TF2 is starting to experience some of the same cheating and unstable server problems that TF1 had.

I agree. I called the Triple Threat in TF1 the LA-Z-BOY. Gee, let me lob exploding balls over half the map and think I'm good. Scorch is the LA-Z-BOY of TF2 only worse. Let me lay down a highway of fire that will even go inside buildings and kill pilots. Let me have a Fire shield that allows me to walk right into titans faces and burn them. Let me have cannisters I can throw and shoot to create more fire pools. Rediculous! I think the solution to this would be to cut ALL fire damage by at least 50%.

Yeah, I tried to use the Legion and I just couldn't deal with how slow it is. It definitely deserves to be powerful for how slow it is. Kudos to anyone who has the patience to master it.

I didn't realize the Legion had these issues with the shield. I didn't play it long enough to realize that. Thanks for sharing that.

Ah I'm glad you enjoyed that for what it was

Legion was good at the start, not so much now. I mean it was always easilly countered by Ion and in tight spaces Scorch as well. I can still deal serious D with it but I only use it if the other team is stacked with Tones amd I feel I need to get rid of a few particle walls.

Northstar needs a wall or vortex instead of that stupid tether trap.

Ensc, you mentioned unstable servers. Tf1 also had that problem? What do you think the reasons are for these network/server problems?

Thanks for asking. I do work in IT. My title is "Systems and Application Support Technician". Without knowing exactly what they are doing behind the scenes, I can really only guess as to some things that might be contributing to the problems. From my experience, I would probably guess the main cause is a "nanny state" or "sticking your nose where it doesn't belong" problem. In other words, if it's not broke, don't fix it. TF1 did have server stability issues, but I think their approach was better. They created a match with however many players to start with (but with a minimum of 4). It seemed as though, once that match was created, they allowed it to almost exist as it's own isolated island, with not too much interaction from them, other than adding new players to it if there was space. In other words, if it was a game that stared with 12 players and they all chose to keep playing for the next 2 hours, they would not really mess with it. However, you could tell that if the user base was low, they would try to combine players from multiple games. For example, you may have been 5 games deep in the Campaign and it would suck you back to the first game, "Refueling Raid" and put you with others. In order to do that, they have to be interacting with those isolated island matches in some way. Every time you are interacting with something, you are giving it a potential reason it didn't have a moment ago to break.

In TF2, their new "matchmaking system" has truly become a "nanny state" and there are no more isolated islands that would get left alone for the most part. After every single game, the suck everyone back into the entire user pool for that lobby and create a game from scratch with no regard to what map you had been on, what mode you were playing (if it was supposed to be a variety mode), or what players were on either team in the previous game. They are "sticking their nose where it doesn't belong". If you have created a match for a specific mode with a certain group of players and it is working fine, then just let it continue. Don't mess with it. Don't suck everyone back into the whole user pool and reshuffle everything. That is so unnecessary and also removes the continuity that you had in TF1.

Anyway, the bottom line to me is that it appears as though there is too much unnecessary administration, supervision, hand holding, baby sitting, interaction or whatever you want to call it. In my opinion, I think that is what contributes to instability to answer your question.

My advice to them would be this:
    1) Keep it as simple as possible.
    2) Create the most even match in numbers as skill as possible.
    3) Once that match is created, allow it to exist as an isolated island as much as possible and don't interact with that match object unless you absolutely have to. In other words, just leave it alone.

You make all good points , why exactly would respawn have put this system like that? It would be interesting to hear from respawn why they made those changes
