I've been gaming for a number of years and have fallen in love with a number of games and game franchises (Titanfall obviously being one of them!)

Many moons ago I was introduced to a game called Battlefield 1942 which was a game changer for me and my love of online gaming, and since then BF Vietnam, BF2, BF 2142, Bad Company, Bad Company 2, and BF3 have scratched that itch that DICE started all that time ago. BF4 was ok, if somewhat tarnished from it's clusterf**k server and balance issues from it's release, and it's abysmal map layout and frankly ridiculous weapon sets. Hardline was a great idea that did not play out too well as a Battlefield game.

    Now we have Battlefield 1 : http://www.battlefield.com/

Great news to have a FPS from the past to run along side Titanfall 2 from the future! I'll be keeping my eye on this one...

Saw this yesterday and I must say it made me think of Medal of Honor/Call of Duty type from a World War (but with better graphics now) that I came to enjoy. Brand new look to some old war genre... works for me.:) Looks like my "list" has an addition to consider.

Yep, with you there, it does look pretty. On an unrelated note I played Overwatch on the weekend and it is a good laugh, accessible, bug free. On my buy list for this month along with Doom. Also on another unrelated note, how f**ked up is it that we have to buy a copy of call of duty:infinite warfare to have a nice remastered copy of Cod 4?

As much as I loved the game, there is NO way Activision is getting £80 of my hard earned money just for that. Infinite War does not interest me - Titanfall 2 will scratch that itch. I understand the want to keep the community together, and if it was MW alone no one would buy the new cod!

Never really owned a Battefield game, but played a couple hours of BF4 on my friends account.

Definitely going to get this Battlefield, loving the WWI look.

I'll be skipping this, I can't take the slow pace of Battlefield. When it gets a hefty price cut, I might buy it for the campaign.

Yeah, they say that the new one is a tad tighter and more immediate...remains to be seen I guess.

Hopefully they have a beta out soon. I'd like to try it before I buy it.

I used to play the OG BF games on PC, not sure how I'll like them these days... Titanfall is pretty much the only game I like...

If it plays more like BF 1942, and BF2 then I might look at it, oh and needs to have Wake Island. If it plays anything like that last 4 BFs then I'll pass.

But, if they were to release another BF 2142. :) I would be all over it.

It won't. This is Battlefield 1, set in World War 1 themes. Meaning it's going to be more like World at War than Battlefield 3 or 4. I never bothered with Hardline because that whole cops vs robbers theme didn't feel right for it. I played the beta, and didn't even think about trying again or buying it.
*Raises hand* Me too, and I never even played 2142. :D

I really liked the game! The SP Campaign is especially good! Just need more!

Haven't got too far into MP yet, but the maps are really great! Very well done. Historically accurate and thoughtful.
I want more France battlefields trench warfare, Ardennes with the US Marines, that kind of stuff! Just need more SP campaign for me!

can't wait to play this game , as i have invested in titanfall 2 first , i would normally have gotten both at launch , i figured titanfall 2 would have kept me going but this game is a must buy for me .

    I have Battlefield 1. I enjoy it.

I'm not a huge fan of the clunky gameplay or HUGE maps with vehicles and the such so I tend to stick to the Team Deathmatch game mode.

i just got mine today , when i get back overseas i will play it, i really wanted to get a new 4K TV to enjoy the game to it's fullest . but will have to wait a bit. the game is in a way to be experence with a team or group but i have had some epic battles just by my lonesome lol and did some damage lol to piss off the other team . i remembered when i got tired and just play the fool in the game would get on a horse and go to town on players i could not believe the shit i would get away with lol.

and you know what from playing Star Wars battlefront fighter jet mode , i must say i like how they integrated the AI mixed in the game and when playing with the planes in BF1 sometimes in a game i would be the only one up there with my squad flying as we would dominate the air but if there were AI mix in the AIR while flying it would give both teams something to shoot at.

are you on PSN if so look me up , conquest is the best mate when you have friends playing and using coms to play the objective.
i tell you it makes for some epic experience.
