That is a great description, because that is what I was thinking when I first heard it mentioned. I was thinking and why would you want to create a mini mode of 2 dead lobbies? :)

    I have to say I am bitterly disappointed with this update;

Live fire I believe is a massive step in the wrong direction and Attrition has been nerfed from 475 points to 450!

I wouldn't mind another PvP mode if they had also added more content for those of us that actually liked the original idea; another map, ability to set my own score limits in private matches (a 1000 point attrition battle would be freaking awesome), another pilot execution, another Titan.

Once you have removed the titans, the grunts, the spectres and the large maps. What is actually left of the original concept? Nothing. You can't even boast that pilots can wall run and double jump, because I believe you can do that in COD too!

It's not even the case that the COD model of FPS is where the genre should be heading. Sales figures and reviews for the past few years show that it is dying a slow and painful death. Battlefield has taken the crown.

If we are going to follow anything why not Battlefield? Imagine a conquest or rush mode with Titans, Spectres, Stalkers and armies of grunts! That would be absolutely awesome!

I had been hoping for Regen challenges to return for Gens 10 -15, additional Titans from the campaign, more Titanfall maps, additional boosts that would act like the hacked and conscription burn card in the original game and another pilot execution and prime titans.

What's in the next drop? Nuketown?

I think what they are trying to do is create a value stream/ program to put them into the competitive ESports world. We know they are trying to break into the FPS market. It's a shame they are not willing to invest the resources to do both grow the business and protect the brand. The loyal people that follow and love a brand like this often loose out to the larger dollars of the bigger market.

But they are definitely on a different path and vision of the future for the game.

So... I am not the only one who noted that the pilot movement has been slowed down? Is it real or just me? If so, I will become catatonically and utterly disillusioned. What the heck is going on here? It is a bad bad joke to remove all the good and unique special parts of this game ie Titan focus and piliot speed and still call it Titan Fall. There better be a sweet surprise down the line to make a good punch line.

Did you up your FOV? Apparently the update reset FOV back to 70 so if you had been playing on higher and it went down, the game will appear slower.

No adjustments were made to Pilot speed.

yeh i agree with this. the leak info on reddit on DLC looks promising if only we could have had all of that DLC at launch .or even the first week in March would be epic.

we can't be sure that the leak is true, it can be false,
there is no certainty, no evidence, just a random guy
anyone can write there, so it can be an invention

Yes, this was my thought as well Derrame. I found it a little fishy that all of sudden we see this whole list of potential good stuff a day after Live Fire comes out and is receiving a lot of negativity. It could just be that someone who loves the game said to themselves, "OMG, we have to stop the bleeding, let's just vomit out a whole laundry list of stuff that may or may not come out someday." As you said, we can't be sure. Until Respawn wants to confirm it, it has to be treated as pure speculation by some random person.

Thanks for posting this video Trini. Now, that I understand where this information supposedly came from, "inside the code of TF2", I think I can lend some insight since I am a computer programmer by trade. This sounds like it was probably taken from the comments inside the code. Computer programmers document their code for themselves and for future programmers who may need to maintain or modify the code. To do this, you put some lines of code that are "commented" out using whatever the comment symbol is for the particular language you are writing in. For example, Visual basic uses a single quote (') and C# uses 2 forward slashes (//). Any line started with the comment symbol is ignored by the compiler and not executed.

My point in explaining that is that as a programmer, it is general practice, not only to document what you've done, but what you plan to do. You may even include things from brainstorming meetings or "pie in the sky" sessions. Just because it is there, doesn't mean it is ever going to happen. For example, with the game modes, you may have had a brainstorming session and just wanted to document all of the ideas everyone threw out just in case you might want to discuss adding a new mode in the future. You may have had another brainstorming session about maps and just jotted down some potential names people threw out there.

My point is, just because someone found all of these notes does not mean they are things Respawn has any plans of doing any time soon. I would take all of it with a grain of salt until Respawn actually comes out and confirms what they are going to release and when. So far, all we know for sure is that Colony is planned. Probably some more executions, weapons and Prime Titans, because they seem to think those things are far more important than maps or modes including titans. But that's about it until they confirm more.

There is another point to be made here, which is that if what I am saying ends up being true, then releasing this information could actually really hurt Respawn. I mean, think about it. Live Fire comes out and is receiving a lot of negativity. Someone may think they are helping Respawn and stopping the bleeding on that by releasing all of this potential good news, which maybe it does and gives the perception of Respawn a temporary boost. However, if they didn't have plans at all to do some of these things, or even if they did but not much more of this in the works right now, people are going to be very upset when these things aren't being delivered in the next few months.
