Yea give it a shot and let me know. I have no idea why this has helped the problem or if it's just a coincidence but I went from experiencing horrific lag to virtually no lag after doing this. I still anticipate the lag coming back because this seems to good to be true but I have definitely played a good number of hours since doing this and it's night and day improvement.
If you play on an FOV over 70 on console, it tells you that you may experience game performance delays.
Yeah, it stands for Field of View. Default is 70 on console but if you have changed that, the game can experience delays because consoles are not optimized for those type of FOVs. Go to settings > audio/video > field of view
Oh ok Thanks I didn't know anything about that. I'll check what mine is set to but I know i didn't change any of those settings.
Set the FOV to the max. It will make it feel like the game is 20x faster. I have mine set to 100 and haven't noticed any performance issues but if you already are having issues, maybe just test it out to see what it's like lol.
I went to a wired connection a couple months into Titanfall 1. It's very seldom that I experience any lag issues... (knock on wood). I hope whatever is causing the issues get cleared up soon so everyone can enjoy the game. I'm so happy to not have to look at Gen 10.49/50 that today I was damn near to the point of "liking" this game.
Yes, and this is another map that is another example, if spread out a little more, of what I was hoping would have been the next progression from TF1 to TF2. I was hoping for bigger maps with wallrunning titans with all titans being faster and stronger than TF1 even. This map has outer walls that would serve that purpuse, such as some of the TF1 maps already do (if you just removed the ribbing on some of them), such as Angel City, War Games, Rise and Training Ground. Glitch could fit that bill if the outer edges were just expanded out a little more. Unfortunately, they went the opposite direction (smaller, tighter maps and slower, weaker titans).
