How are you guys doing on the new map Glitch? Its definitely going to make wall running pros out of all of us I think lol. Titanfall was already fast paced but I think this map takes it to a new lvl what you do guys think?

ues, the walls in this map makes it really easy to keep up the speed and flying, those who are in the air have the advantage, if your are on the ground, you won't last long
but he MP in this game was already fast paced, many maps have enough walls to run and fly, except for crashsite

but yeah, glitch is very different

First, thanks for the question and it is a good question. If you had phrased your question, "Titanfall 2", I would have said "yes", but since you only phrased it "Titanfall", then my answer has to be "no". "Titanfall" the original set the bar for fast paced shooting. "Titanfall 2" was taking about 10 steps backwards with almost every core change designed to appease the traditional FPS crowd, which resulted in smaller maps, choke-pointed maps, maps that were not as well designed in order to dampen the effects of wallrunning. Titans were weakened and slowed down for the same goal, but I will stick to what this thread is about. Anyway, all of these design changes had the purpose of making the game slower, more congested and more compressed. The reason I say this was taking 10 steps backwards is because what made the original "Titanfall" great was it's unique wide openness that allowed you to express yourself in ways you could not in any other game. Is "Glitch" the best map in "Titanfall 2"? Yes. Is it a step in the right direction? Yes. It has the best wallrunning routes, even comparable to some of the best "Titanfall" maps for this, such as War Games or Rise. However, it is still a smaller, choke-pointed map, so it still has the congested and more compressed feel as the other "Titanfall 2" exclusive maps do. Therefore, "Titanfall" set the bar, "Titanfall 2" took 10 steps back, and I would say that if the "Glitch" map is a sign of the direction to come, then it would be taking 3 steps forward.

this map has some good walls to run and two "wall highways" but this map is also favorable for campers, they stay at the spawn points in th ends of the map and they shoot everything that moves with a sniper rifle and they don't need to move because they see everyone who comes to them,
in other maps you can sneak, hide, run without beeing seen and reach these campers in their hideout, but in this map they will always see you coming

But remember if they can see you than you can see them. Maps like Angel City and colony you get picked off all over the map from places you aren't even looking at. That is much more camper friendly

no, in glitch, is very difficult to hide from pilots staying in the spawn points, in those high places with grass, where you grab the zipline, there is almost no cover if an enemy is up there, in angel city is easier to hide and reach them

I'm not saying you can't camp in glitch. But by far the most camping I have seen is in Angel City and colony. Great maps but many places to hide and get on rooftops and shoot from long range. Glitch is a far more mobile map , typically players are moving more on that map. Sure there's those spots that your referencing but they are few and far between. And once you know that's a campers spot you can anticipate them being there and adjust to it .

It's not untrue what your saying , you can see across the map in that spawn area. I'm just saying I don't particularly find that map really campy. Angel City and colony can be really rough against good teams because you literally can get shot from many different locations. Glitch has just a few spots .

yes, angel city and colony are campy too, but i find easier to hide and reach the campers in those maps than in glitch, in glitch is more difficult to me to hide and reach them without getting shot in the face

Yea I hear you. The middle part of the map is risky for that. I usually use the right or left route on the map to flank people. I'll use the middle at times if I feel comfortable with how the match is going .

EPG is quite good on this map. Unruly, but good!
