Hey does the boosts go away when you die ? Or do they all last for a minute long even if you die ? When the amped weapons start i see there's some kind of meter in the bottom left corner , what exactly is thst meter showing? I couldn't really tell when the time limit ran out on the amped weapons
No, if you have not used them, they don't go away. For example if your Boost is Ticks, when it becomes available you have 2 Ticks you can deploy. If you only deploy 1 and then die, as soon as you respawn, the other one is still available for you. So basically, whatever portion of the Boost you have not use yet should still be available for you I think.
I agree, I use the RT-201 sometimes but find when Ampted Weapons are paired with the Volt it is almost unfair (Respawn ignore that comment)... I have taken enemies out at some incredible (Assault Rifle) ranges and I find it is better on those close in fights you often get in AH. (Note: I lose most close in gun fights but when I win it is the Volt).
What do you guys think is better and find more productive out of the phase shift or Cloaked? I haven't really tried either one yet , I have stuck with sentry gun and now amped weapons. But after 120hrs of online play I'm slowly starting to branch out now haha
I use Cloak the most with ampted weapons. This works well in Ampted Hardpoint which is my game of choice.
@Omega82, I like cloak/stim/blade the most depends on mode I play, but have been trying the others as well. For boosts, I use amp, pilot senty and map hack the most....But again I have been messing around with some of the others too. Does anybody use Dice Roll? Sounds like it gives a random boost? I don't understand why this would be useful?
I'm sorry but I can not value this player because it only moves with running bunny, so I can clearly question if he isn't using a macro, if it moves normally then I couldn't give him real value. Just my opinion. I immediately quit the game as soon as I see a player doing bunny running abnormally as this player does, to me is a macro.
Macro=A series of keystrokes triggered by a single series? Whether or not the PC players actually use that or not, I can not say. I will say this. Console players can not, and yes I have a modded controller. (Waste of money) Personally I use an elite controller and have been trying to get better at slide hoping around the map like a rabbit on a combination of roids, speed and mountain dew myself. Speed and movement takes practice, tryhards such as gamesager and unknown might have more time on their hands than you and I so they dedicate themselves to being better titanfail players. I sometimes dont leave... and the match is usually over pretty fast! Watch this and give it a try yourself. https://www.youtube.com/shared?ci=0PUuHCNhXlw
If you use phase shift well its pretty unbeatable for mine, take damage, phase, avoid death/kill enemy..it nice, its my go to after wall hacks.
i use antititan turret in attrition and LTS antipilot turret in pilots vs pilots ticks in bounty hunt
I mostly use amped weapons, although awarded fairly high up the titan meter (80%?) It reloads your weapon and usually gives a 1.5 multiplier, ace with the likes of r201, alternator and flatline.
I thought they were getting rid of the anti pilot turret? It's a farmer eh?. I saw someone on here I thought that started a battle over it likening it to the SP for TF1, so I stopped using it so none of you would catch me doing so (went to ticks). So pilot sentry is cool?? lol - cause it was great for Bounty parking right next to drops. Cheers.
Phase shift needs to be nerfed. I just find it getting completely out of hand. If you only have 1 player using it then it's not that annoying but when you get multiple players on the same team using it then to me it's a big problem. You shouldn't be able to spam that as frequently as you can now. Respawn needs to increase the time it takes to achieve the phase shift.
It feels a little cheesy to me as well. But I seem to kill about 50% of them after they come back...so yeah...but it's still cheese.
Not just nerfed. It needs to be eliminated. It is cheesy. It makes the game seem cartoony. It is one of those things that was great in the Single Player, but should have stayed ONLY in the Single Player. Also, to me, it is the defensive equivalent of the arc mines in TF1. With the arc mines, you should not get to kill me when you are not there to do it. With Phase Shift in TF2, if I am about to kill you, you should not get to not be there.
I started to try out the Ticks. Sometimes it works good for me then other times I get no results. Anybody here good with the ticks ?
