I don't care for it at all...nothing was wrong with the way it was........ Now ....I feel that the pain of either kicking another teams ass or your teams ass getting kicked just last longer...
i like the new score before, it was short and repetitive, now it seems that there is more variety, there is more time to think, run around some parts and engage in combat in different ways, different approaches more time to try something different if you are loosing and maybe change the result more opportunities to use boost and call in titans before, it was like there is only on way, the way the match starts, that is how it is going to end the team that starts winning, that team ends up winning, now, it is more unpredictable i like that, more fun
I have good luck with the matchmaking and have tons of close/fun matches that I'm happy to have last a little longer. The ones that turn into a painful, losing grind happen when a couple of teammates quit (even with a close score, why?!?) and the "W" slowly slips away...
It really does not matter to me. There are advantages both ways. There are times when just a few more minutes will give us the win, so that is good. But as Kernel has pointed out many times, momentum swings and who wins is often a crap shoot as to which side of the pendulum swing you are on at the moment. However, what trumps everything, is that the shorter rounds means I am less delayed when my wife whistles for me to heel. Being two minutes late for super or bathing the grandkid, is ok, but not 5-10 minutes.
