Ok so I've been playing and I've seen a lot of different tactics that people use when they have there titans up here's a list of what I've seen so far.

    1. The guy who gets in the titan and goes on a spree going like 15-0 and has it the whole match.

    2. The guy that gets his Titan gets out of it and puts it in follow mode.

    3. And lastly the guy who get in his Titan and knows he has the nuclear blast On his Titan so he just goes and blows up his titans near others.

Me myself I try to stick to the first one, I don't always get crazy killing sprees but I do pretty well. I personally don't understand the second and third choice they just seem like a waist to me. The auto titans aims are pretty worthless until you get the guardian chip then they become a little bit better but even still when I have my Titan I use it until the end. And I will never understand the suicide bombers on this game it is a complete waste of a Titan but I'm done ranting what's your guys favorite tactics how do you do it let me know!!

While I enjoyed using Titans, I found that the Auto-pilot wasn't that bad. In fact, at one point I was in a 1v1 with another Titan and almost died, so I decided to pop out early (not eject, just open the hatch) to try and get on his Titan. However, as soon as I tried hopping onto his, mine was actually able to outmaneuver and kill the other Titan... forcing it to blow up on me, but still, my Titan was pretty damn good for the most part on Auto. I'm not saying it'll get a killing spree, but it's more meant for you to help it out. It's about as viable a tactic as piloting it yourself, as you play different but still use your Titan to its full advantages.

    As for the third, trollolololol.

Hahaha @BloodShot9001 trollollol is right and yeah I know what you mean I have gotten out of mine a few times as almost bait so I could use my anti Titan weapon to help take down an enemy Titan there are many tactics but so far I love just staying in them and fighting it out

Suicide bombing nets you the kills and the experience points + attrition points (if your in that mode) from the kill, Each Titan is worth 5 points and a pilot is the same so for some people its logical to have nuclear detonation to bag a couple of kills and escape the fight (if your lucky)

It's good practice to use all 3 tactics.... First drop, stay alive as long as you can, running support to your entire team. It can hurt your teammates if you're slow and out of the action for too long...so you've gotta dash to wherever red dots pop up on the map as quickly as possible.

Second drop, go more aggressive...and let the Titan act as your back up while you do your best to stay off the ground and get into the air. Use the Titan more as a distraction. If a few enemy Titans gang up on my empty shell, I'm somewhere else killing their unattended pilots, grunts, and spectres. An even better way to use your Auto Titan is to double team an enemy. As soon as the enemy Titan attacks your empty shell, rodeo him. Instant 2v1. He's too busy fighting my Titan to notice I'm dooming him.

Third one is actually really useful if you're not being a worthless troll. :) All too often I'll come into a lobby where my team is behind and getting STOMPED. 3 or 4 enemy Titans will be out on the map at once. I have a Stryder class for this with nuclear ejection. I'll go in extremely fast with the chaingun (with accelerator attached) and try to score as many critical headshots as possible on the enemy with the most health. Auto Eject and boom. Triple kill that takes the pressure off my already hurtin' teammates and I'll do my best to make my landing on any remaining enemy Titans.

Just another way of lookin' at it.

Yeah @PJZ wasn't saying it was just a troll way :) but yeah that is a good way at looking at it. Never attempted it myself but I think I'll have to keep it in mind atleast.

I definitely like the aspect of using Nuclear Detonation as an actual tactic, but I think there should be a bit less of a reward than usual. Well...... I don't know if that's true. In fairness a person worked hard to get a Titan and used it to the best ability, SO I guess I'm actually interested in using it as a tactic. BUT you have to admit, there WILL be trolls who just want to blow up. But it does sound fun to use it more to my advantage than just "a last ditch effort and/or troll" mechanic.

You will see a VERY DISTINCT flash of white light glow bright from the center of a Titan with nuclear ejection. With that in mind, you can evade being blown up by it 4 out of 5 times if you dash backwards IMMEDIATELY upon seeing it.

Totally not a dig at you @P0pSh0t21 :D Just saying I don't like trolls in general. Too lazy for my taste.

Nuclear Ejection is funny when you can pin someone in close quarters. NO ESCAPE.

I saw two guys in Ogres using vortex shields and their shield cores in tandem today. They were tearing through the enemy titans without even getting scratched, until some lone pilots showed up and started jumping on them.

This was in Last Titan Standing... Pretty epic.

I had a great moment recorded where I was able to jump on 3 seperate Titans after losing a Stryder (this was back in the Beta so everyone was targeting me), and I was able to kill 2 out of the 3 Titans. One of them blew up and killed a the pilot inside I believe. Twas very fun. XD I love how high you jump off of Titans that are dying.
