If you earn burn cards while you have a full deck, or earn more cards in a match than you have spaces, the new cards replace the old ones. This is an extremely poor design choice. It would be better and more sensible for you to simply lose out on the newly acquired cards than to have the game toss cards you had purposefully saved out of your deck automatically. This is especially frustrating considering it tosses out cards starting at the bottom of the stack, which is where your rare burn cards go. I lost both the call in stryder and call in ogre cards that I had unlocked upon hitting level 50. I was mad, bro. Trust me. Ideally, you would be presented the superfluous cards after the match and allowed to keep or discard whichever you saw fit. I imagine this being patch-able in the future if it's what the community wanted. Thoughts?
Usually, no I wouldn't mind. But when it scrapped my Spare Stryder, Atlas Refurb, Spectre Camo, Map Hack and rare always-on aural implant (can't remember the name)... then I have an issue with it. They could've taken away my amped weapons and I'd be okay with that. You know what they got replaced with? SIX Decisive Actions, and 5 Amped LMGs! A few other things here and there, but man... Semi-pro-tip: if your deck is almost full, make sure you DON'T take down 8 Titans in a single match via rodeo.
Yeah, I tend to use 3 cards a match and STILL have to throw cards away because my deck fills up quicker than I can use them. Especially when you can get a good 5-10 cards on a good match. And I like to save my best cards for when I'm playing with friends. It's like, "No, we were all going to play as spectres!". I don't want a bunch of garbage Rematch and Spider Sense cards, damn it! =)
Great post Ronin and I completely agree with your suggestion. The current deck should take priority over any new cards you earn throughout your game-time. I spend most of the lobby interval time managing my deck but it always ends filling up with Decisive Action, Active Camo and Bottomless frag cards (all of which I dont use). I'd rather keep my current deck, and as I use them, have the replacement cards fill their prior spots. Yes I lost two Spare Stryder's so I share your pain Bardi.
All told, it adds another layer to the name "Burn Card". Because I feel dat burn losing dem rares. Aaaaand, that's about as gangster as I go. Carry on people.
I wish I had a choice like giving gold cards priority. Never delete them and delete common ones already in my deck if I earn some. Definitely sucked going on a rampage, earning a bunch of cards during a match, THEN earning gold cards that never arrived. I think I got three shock nade cards and two weapons I usually discard. As it is, I throw away about as many as I use so I make sure I don't miss something good.
I end up throwing a lot away. The spectre camo I find useless. Same with spider sense, most of the infinite grenade cards, and most of the amped guns. It's not hard to keep open slots in your deck.
Yeah, gotta agree with @aynrandsucks here. I mostly use only a couple types of cards, so I mostly throw most of them away. Still, I understand holding onto them. Sometimes I forget to even use the ones I have readied up.
I'm trying to keep the rarer cards stupid I know but rather than use them I use the more common ones so I don't loose any of the cards

It's kinda sad that new cards are burning away old ones. I didn't know that lol. I thought Im just not getting any new ones... Got to keep those cards organized ;p Sometimes i forget to use those cards i pick for a match... kinda tiresome mechanic for me ... Anyway is spider sense even working? Or is that alarm sound just really quiet?
I always discard most of the weapon cards. The only weapon cards I keep are anti titan and smart pistol. But cards shouldn't be discards auto when y gain more. There is a few I'm saving for certain game modes
