I recently purchased this game and have been enjoying it immensely when I've been able to play, but it seems like every day I play the lobby wait times get longer and longer. I waited THIRTY MINUTES in an attrition game lobby and only saw two other players join on a Saturday night (AKA prime time?) Am I doing something wrong? Because it seems as if this game doesn't want you to be able to play. Is it that no one is playing this game? Is the new matchmaking system broken? Regardless, as someone who recently spent $60 and truly does enjoy this game, I'm about to give up and move on. If anyone has any information or is experiencing the same thing, please share!
Well thanks for getting off topic, but "just buy an xbox" isn't exactly an answer. I've attempted three more times over various parts of the day yesterday and today, have waited up to an hour, and have yet to play ONE GAME. There is nothing wrong with my connection. My computer has no problem playing this game. I just want to play some damn Titanfall. And everyone I've seen in lobby chat has been having the same problem of NEVER getting into a full (or even partially full) lobby.
Hi mate, Firstly sorry for being partially responsible for going off topic. From what I have been able to glean about this issue is that there appears to be a lack of numbers in certain locations at certain times. I am uncertain of the numbers on PC at any one time. I have had this issue with other games because I am in the Australian market where there is often a lack of numbers for play. I have found the respawn guys to be helpful both on twitter and also through their forums. Here is the link to the forums http://www.respawn.com/forum/ Also check them out on twitter. Jokes aside, this was primarily an X1 title and this game did not enjoy the sort of numbers its pre release hype expected. Their twitch numbers were telling. In the first 2-3 days there were around 20-30,000 people watching TF play, now there is around 500-1000. The CoD numbers for the same period peak at around 15000 every day. I hope you find a solution dude...sorry I couldn't have been more help.
I don't really have that problem the only issue is that when you are playing the game at weird times of day you may have to wait a little longer.
Please keep discussion on point with the original post. If you want to argue about console vs. PC, please do it somewhere else.
Sgt_rawk, no worries man, and I appreciate your well thought out response! I posted a similar thread in the Issues sub-forum and have yet to find a reasonable solution to my problems. I'm really hoping to find some legitimate reason why this is happening beyond lack of players, but as I mentioned everything I try has failed to provide results. It's also perplexing that the majority of people who post here do not seem to have a problem of finding a match "eventually", which again leads me back to wondering why it's just me that seems to be completely unable to play this game. (And when I say unable, I mean the problem is on the game's side; I'm hardwired into cable and have a rig more than capable of running this game.)
It seems this has become a problem for certain people after the matchmaking patch. perhaps you all fall into a skill level that's particularly hard to place. I would say that is most likely the between 1-2 pilot k/d range, with around a 50 w/l. Can any of you confirm your stats to be around this level?
