I'm down for quick matches in the afternoons, on weekdays because my work shifts are from 4am to 2pm... 31, not married, 2 dogs (a lazy Japanese Akita and a crazy Swiss Shepherd ) and I suck at Titanfall.

Need to make some "private matches" and practice to help some players.

This game makes you jump right in to the game without much time to get to know how it goes. Just a thought.
    I am willing.............;)

Wow, all you young old guys all in one place! You guys make me feel really old. Hope no one drops a bomb, there goes gaming history;)
I am still trying to figure a way to game with some of you, but I am in a gaming community and time is not my friend due to work.
With private lobbies, we should do an over 40 night or something soon. Then a real O.G. room, over 50 room!

Glad to find this thread. I'm coming to terms with the fact that getting older means sucking more at FPS. I'm working to reconcile my hayday as a Halo 1 and Halo 2 college champ with my current lived experience: squeezing in games of Titanfall PC after work, on the weekends, and feeling like my reflexes are not what they once were. It'll be great to find a group of folks who are like-minded, easy going, and fun to game with. Plus, who knows, if we actually communicate maybe we can compensate for this age-thing!

    Origin ID: Jesters89

I'll add folks later one today.

I'm blaming work for my decline in FPS reflexes. But there have been studies on people who FPS games and their better capacity to see in low contrast light/colors, which is super beneficial for driving, but that's one example. At work I have to stare at X-ray colored coded images and it's so bright and ugly :( (I'm an airport bagage screener)

I'm aware I'm going a bit off topic, but here's the article for that study: "Playing video games improves eyesight"

wow guys, I've been looking for a thread like that!
well, I'm not old (or at least, I don't consider myself old - 29) but I'm awfull. Raised on Fury of the Furies, Mario Bros and Prince of Persia kind of games so the pace on Titanfall is killing me. Virtually :) I can shoot bots, as they are really dumb here, but killing a player is an ACHIEVEMENT (unless I stomp them)
Can I join you in a game or two?

I play mostly on evenings, GMT+1

    Ozlefty,

Are you sure you're teh oldest? I remember the moon landing, and the first computer I ever programmed was an IBM 360 mainframe, using punchcards (Hollerith Protocol), using Fortran IV!

I am 50, btw. I like the idea of a mature group of guys who suck. Count me in!

Hi people! What luck that I stumbled on this thread! 47 year old software engineer from Sweden here.

Iv'e see a couple of you say you remember the moon landing. I was only three then, but I have a really vague memory sitting in my dads lap in front of the black-and-white and him saying that this was the biggest thing that would happen in my lifetime. Not sure if that's a real memory though - might be a construction from my dad telling me about it.

Anyway, I got my first computer, a Sinclair ZX80 for Christmas 1979. Not very many (or fun) games available on that, but I soon moved to VIC20, C64, Amiga500, and onward. I too have realized that my reflexes and my capacity for remembering more than a few command keys at a time has been significantly reduced in the last couple of years. I think someone mentioned MMO's, and that's where I went too. Have been playing Star Wars - The Old Republic since Beta, and I only play "vs. environment" so I don't get the crap beaten out of me by the kids all the time :)

I have played Titanfall for about a week now. Needless to say, I suck at it, but it's still the most fun I've had in a long time.

So I'm on if you'll have me! My origin id is he same as my nick here, boise (which is the logon name I usually get at work, composed from my name, Bosse Iseborn).

This sounds like my kind of crew. I'd like to get in on this.
I just got the game today and suck. Really really suck. I generally like drinking a few beer when I play which tends not not at all increase my performance, but I have a good time.
I do however wear skinny jeans quite frequently, hope that's not a deal breaker.

    Hi there, I`m 38, GMT+1, origin ID DiAL033
First computer memories where when I was 4 or 5 and was doing serious ascii art on a data-general eclipse terminal (my dad ran a computer business back then ;)). The Apple II was my first own computer, I still use the keyboard of an old sanyo portable PC from 1990 and I never owned a c64 until I was 35

Please add another "over the hill" Aussie to your friends list. I play when I can but got to get to bed early (just kidding).
New to Titanfall but love the game as well as a couple of other FPS games.

    See you on the field.

Mid 30's. 41 is rapidly creeping up on me and I'm still playing CS, BF, COD Ghosts and Titanfall. I suck at them all but it's great stress relief. ;)
