I've found that by "hoarding" certain burn cards I can enhance my regeneration progress. I am currently Gen 5. I have cleared the Carbine challenges so I am now working with the Spitfire LMG practicing for when I hit Gen 6. As I clear each level of the Spitfire challenges I am awarded Amped Spitfire burn cards. I am hanging on to these and now have about 12. With more to come. So when I reach Gen 6 I can get to work on the Spitfire regen challenges as soon as the challenges are open @ lvl 4. I will not have to wait to unlock the Spitfire @ lvl 39 I will likely have most of the Spitfire regen challenges met before the gun is even unlocked.

I have a different strategy. I hoard my double XP cards so I rank up fast after regenning. I am currently holding 14 double XP waiting for four more MVP so when I Gen to 10, it will only take about 15 rounds to be level 50.
Gahhhh those double xp cards. I have to throw some away since they keep piling up and I never know when to use them. I hoard rare cards. I hoard so many cards I now only have 2 spaces open to gain new cards. the rest are too rare and I never want to let them go xD. I got 4 map hacks doing nothing! And I think 3-4 Ghost Squads
I don't keep weapon burncards. I keep the very rare cards. Weapon burncards require me to be good with the weapon xD I do admit that I keep Amped Krabers. They are so fun!
I usually do this with the cards I have used and come to love. I'll horde if I don't have anyone on when I am. so I horde my good ones to use when they get on.
The only cards i hoard and still do.... Ghost Squad, Adrenaline Fusion, Map Hacks and Echo Vision. That is all i keep every thing else i will chunk or use to make space for those specific cards. I use to hoard a bunch of titan cards.. but i used them to save for the others. Prosthetic legs is a good card too... But like AC said i don't know when to use them.... and when i don't i do just fine....
I dont hoard Double XP cards. I'll get to level 50 before I accomplish some of the Regen Requirements, so it's essentially a waste for some generations.
Currently sitting on 7 Titan cards 7 ghost squad and 5 map hack...I never use burn cards anyways unless they would help in a challenge. Wish I could trade them for something
I Noticed when you're going through the Level 40's you'll start getting Burn Cards for the Weapons for the next Gen Challenges I'll Horde those ready for when I ReGen like before I needed the Satchel Charge Kills I managed to Gather 12 Burn cards for them and lost count how many Amped DMR Cards I gathered during Gen 3 ready for Gen 4
