Just finished playing on the three new maps. They are in rotation, but I played a private match. Swampland is awesome! Lots of places to hide an sneak around. The trees that overhang you can climb them! Runoff is HUGE! I mean HUGE! Lots of buildings and places to go in to. Many perches to sniper from. War Games is really unique. A blend of the training map and the urban maps of the game. Again its really big! Also I noticed some "improved" animations in the game(?) The jet pack seemed stronger and louder; the bolt action of the CAR is clearer; parkour seemed better. Stuff like that. Great addition to the game and worth the $$$$$$$
I have only played a few rounds, War Games is a seriously good CTF map, Swamplands is a perfect map for ambush style plays, and Run off..... well that is just perfect full stop. I have stopped The grind to enjoy these maps a bit. Hugley impressed.
Just odd today, I really noticed the "bolt" mechanism of the CAR really working like I had never seen it before!!!! Where the eject port is and it slides open and closed to accommodate the firing of the weapon. Maybe its just ME, but the entire game looks better than before. Sounds, graphics, animations, everything.
I only tried Runoff and Swampland. I really think I will love Runoff but swampland is errrr good for cloak. War Games will most likely be my favorite.
Not tried any of them yet only Downloaded them at about 3 this Morning so not had Chance yet will probably run through them tonight
I juuust caught up on the expansion after a hiatus, I kinda burned out on playing but thought I'd give the new maps a go... Only thing I know right now is that I can't wait to fix my desktop. Swampland puts a strain on my shitty laptop and it's difficult to even move around without lag... because of the GPU. But it's beautiful and it makes me feel like Lara Croft.
Uhm, no? Unless I'm mistaken it's $9.99 for Expedition, that is for all three maps in this DLC. The season pass for $24.99 also includes the upcoming two DLC's that will be released later this year. Or do I have it wrong?
Played the maps last night... i really like them... war games i like the most... for now..... but i really like all 3... they feel alot more for pilots to parkour around... but i enjoyed them!!
Swampland is fantastic graphically, War Games and Run Off are a triumph in layout and design. They smartly created new areans that allow you to showcase the unique movement of the game. Capture the Flag on Runoff and War Games were incredibly competitive & fast paced. I was hunting people down on flag runs all game. Swampland is probably good for cloak as someone said, need to try it. I would voice a critique however...two of the three times I played it was on Hardpoint (the other LTS which was fantastic) and it seemed broken. Titans were standing in weird spots in proximity to the point and it would let them keep it instead of letting you capture. Permanently in contesting mode. Did anyone else find this? I was left thinking it's either broken, untested or incredibly cheap? Maybe I just don't have my head around layout or there were other pilots in the proximity hiding keeping it contested. The game was close and the outcome hinged on these extra bizarre points.

I love the maps specially Swampland, well detailed man but I wanna know why is it that in the update notes it says the splash from falling enemy titans doesn't kill your titan anymore however in this video my titan gets destroyed?
Naw, read the update notes again, it says the splash damage from titan fall will no longer damage the DROP SHIP as dropping your titan on the ship or near the ship was never an intended behaviour. It makes total sense that titanfall damages/ kills enemies and titans in proximity, this was built into the game. There are even "look out below!" challenges related to this
H I was pretty disappointed with the new maps. I hate Swampland, its a pain in the ass to get around, its almost as if the safest place to move around is underground rather then the tree tops. The other two aren't two bad, much larger and more places to move around. I would have liked to see some customisation on the titans (new skins), maybe even new guns. I think TF is still lacking something, I really like the game, but I can never find myself playing for too long. Maybe it would be good if they introduced new guns, or some type of kill streak scheme? Just an idea.
Swampland reminded me of Ghosts DLC, ruins I think it was called. Lots of nooks and crannys. I wasn't overly taken with the new maps, they don't seem to have the flow of the others however I am sure once I get used of the spawns and work out the traffic I will like them more. I just wish they would just incorporate them into the general rotation rather than have playlists...
Swampland + plenty of room for Titans + plenty of cover - parkour is very difficult Runoff + great for parkour + plenty if cover - sightlines are long and favor only long range weapons - awkward for Titan movement - a bit too big given the player count War games + cool intro and special effects + awesome mix of pilot and Titan mobility + pit of death in the middle - looks like the inside of an Apple Store - no "THIS IS SPARTA" achievement for kicking someone into the pit of death
