hello i've always been a console player but after hitting gen 10 on Xbox one im after a new challenge would it be possible for a new pc player to get used to Keyboard and mouse? is it simple? or would i be better of stopping on my XB1? don fncy using a controller on Pc due to not getting the full pc feel
Practice with it, there's no way around the awkward feeling at first but it's very different from using a console controler. Make sure your mouse is working well because that's where most of the action happens.
Suggestion: Turn OFF your "Acceleration" for your mouse. Always helps me, pointer doesn't over shoot target. Practice............practice......................practice! Good Luck!
Ah, you're the guy that was talking about this with me in the 'post your setup' thread, right? Nice to see that you're giving it a try. I don't actually own Titanfall (I'm on here for other reasons) but I can speak for other shooters on the PC which use the same basic principles. Trust me, you will be fine. At first it really does feel REALLY weird transitioning from a controller to the K&M and you'll think that it's going to take a really long time to get used to it. Then after just a few standard sessions of playing it somehow already feels as natural as it would on consoles. Or at least that's how I experienced it. Just make sure to hang in there despite the initial awkwardness and give it a chance, you'll definitely get used to it within a few days at most. There is really nothing to worry about where the transition is concerned.
lol, there was a time when playing FPS with controllers was unanimously considered unplayable. K&M was the only way to be good at shooters. You may not be used to K&M, but anatomically speaking you cannot get the same precision on controller that you can get on K&M. No on the issue of it feeling awkward for you, that is just something that takes time getting used to.
