All the videos I see on youtube throw stat after stat your way in hopes that you can decipher what they mean. I am starting a simplified "How to use the _____" so that you can know how to apply each weapon and get the most out of your load out. The first weapon is the EVA - 8 shotgun which in the right hands can be absolutely devastating. Please watch and like or comment and let me know what you would like to see next. I only used it in the gen 3 challenges ( i think that's the correct one), ran it with Stim, or Active Pulse.
I've noticed that even when using the sights on the shotgun, it still retains the same spread is it would with hip-fire. Therefore there is really no reason for aiming with the irons. Also, your video had been beneficial to those struggling with that weapon, I found that to further improve the look of TitanFall videos is to increase saturation (a little) and contrast (to have less greys and more distinction in colours). Nice video overall.

Gen 2 challenges require shotgun actually. I absolutely love the shotgun. It dominates in buildings. When I die using it, I never think 'if only I had a carbine I could have killed him' since I have a shotgun, I know I should have gotten closer. It beats everything at the range you want it to win at. (I've had moments were it didn't ohk somebody at close and they kicked me.... almost raged). I love it. No...I am not missing out on an awesome weapon, I had to use the thing to level up and so I have full knowledge that it is not an "awesome weapon". Forgive me but I hate shotguns in this game. I loved shotguns in shooters gone by, Doom and Fear come to mind however online I have never ever liked shotguns. Close range snipers is all they are, see guy, shoot at guy with shotgun, miss or shoot too early, guy owns you with a slightly sharpened spoon. Don't get me wrong, I get shotguns, I get the timing and rhythm required to use one, I get how devastating they can be in OBJ based games...but they are not for me.
Exactly, I never feel like I got cheated if I don't win a gunfight, its more of "what could I have done differently". I'm actually working on putting clips together for the DMR as well so I will put that out sometime soon
Yea I here you, I was the exact opposite. I used to hate shotguns before titanfall. But now there are so many different ways to get from a to b and closing ground to get up close and personal is fast and lethal. I think the challenges made me realize that every gun has its place...except for the g2a4...I hate that gun lol
Is that the single shot rifle? I set up a troll/camping class with that, I just sit on a roof with silencer, cloak, arc mines and just pop guys off, I feel dirty when I use it...
That gun also has it's place, it's for those with good aim & able to get headshots on a regular basis. It has a crazy HS multiplier. So yeah, pretty much useless for me.
G2A4. The gun that is more DMR then the actual DMR. I feel it needs a buff. Matchtrigger makes the recoil INSANE while reducing clip size to 8. Fukking 8! And it doesn't do too much damage ( kinda same as the carbine expect less tolerance with people with bad aim). At least it will be better then the sniper. @Sgt_rawk .... Just try to give the Eva-8 some love.... that's all it needs to be good. Love. With death. the Eva is like a gun that makes you expect what it's capable of and exceeds it. But what you think it fails at, it fails at. Hard. So it depends on what you do with it that makes it a deathmachine. (Can be said with all guns... except the Kraber)
