All of the sudden my mic isn't working can only chat through kindest anyone else experiencing issues? It's driving me nuts lol
Try a few things. Make sure it's not muted. Unplug the headset and replug it in. Restart the controller. Restart the Xbox. Make sure the controller is updated. If you have a second controller test the mic with that one. That is all I got. Is the the normal Xb1 mic or a 3rd party one?
I've been having issues with my Controller, so it could be down to Poor Quality components in the Build! My controller has been disconnecting without warning, or sometimes the Rumble packs start buzzing or my character starts spinning for no reason! It doesn't matter if I use rechargeable batteries or not & I've even bought a USB to mini USB cable so I can run without BATTERIES & it STILL does it! I've tried everything that @XboxSupport has suggested so its looking like I'll HAVE to return it to the retailer & ask for a replacement as its not FIT For Purpose so I'm within my Rights to ask for a REPLACEMENT! I'll post when I get news on what has happened!!
I had to send mine into M$ because it kept disconnecting. However I just bought the TF controller so I'll just sell the one they give me back. As for OP, if you talk to people often, maybe invest in a Turtle beach headset. The x1 mic sucks.
I have a good set of Headphones, actually 2 Good sets, 1 a TurtleBeach PX5s & also a pair of Astro A40s in Neon Red coz I find I enjoy the extra depth a good set of Headphones gives is almost as good as a Wall Hack as U can hear people before you see them then they accuse you of HACKING! Nope just I listen to what is happening around me!
You managed to get the game working with your mic? Darn; here is me with a $225 Creative ZX Evo headset, and I have never heard a word from anywhere and am unable to be heard; even though my sound speaker shows in the lobby.
I been having problems. I use turtle beach xo7 headset. I can hear chat from other playerz and game sound. But my sound speaker icon is not showing up. So I have no in game chat. I have tried: Unpluging the headset and repluging it in. Restartedthe controller. Restarted the Xbox. Made sure the controller is updated. Tried a second controller. Tried the MS headset that came with xbox one. It's brand new. Same issue. Checked xo7's and MS headset on my phone. They both won't fine. Checked all my network connections. This has been happening the last couple of days. I usually do a hard reset and it works again. But that's not working either. Any suggestions please. Could it be an xbox live issue?
