Ok, so I'm getting a new gaming laptop this summer as a graduation gift, and am really looking forward to playing Titanfall. But before I buy the game (Or computer) I want to make sure that it will be able to run titanfall on at least the mid-level graphics settings. Here are the specs. I'm no expert but it looks good. I would however upgrade the hard drive to an SSD drive if at all possible. Even with a fast SSD drive it takes a while to load these massive and highly detailed maps, and the risk is that with a slow drive (5400 RPM is standard for laptops, but it is not very fast) the match is already on when your computer has finished loading it. It will still work, but you risk always missing the beginning and that would be a downer... What I mean is this: How the game works is that for each map, the server waits for the first players computer reporting that it has finished loading the map. Then it waits for up to another 30 seconds (or something - not sure abut the exact time) or until eight players has finished loading (whichever happens first) before starting the intro and the match. So if your computer is very slow in loading the game, you will enter the match after it has already started. I'm sure that other people that play on laptops (I don't) can tell you if this is an actual problem or not.
770M definitely should be able to run it. I personally use a gaming laptop with a 780M and can run at the highest settings. I think you can set it to best graphics quality or a little lower and performance should be fine. The 770M should have similar performance to a desktop 660 but with slower clocks. 16GB ram is more than enough for games and Intel Haswell is more than good enough for the game. For most games, GPU tends to be the bottleneck but CPU can affect performance too. Don't see anything to worry about though with your set up.
Hey there @Soran_F! Anything to say regarding my concern about the hard drive possibly being too slow? Do you have an SSD or a 5400 rpm as in these specs?
My laptop has an SSD for other programs but my games are on a 5400 rpm HDD I believe(manufacturer says 7200rpm but upon checking, serial number and product code is for 5400rpm). I've heard that other people don't get the dropship load sequence but that doesn't seem to have anything to do with the hardware. I almost always see the dropship sequence so I don't think loading is a problem. Then again, this is personal experience and sometimes, similar hardware may have different results but this should give a fair idea.
