Jus after the first patch, I no longer can see the burn card selection screen before first drop. I do see it after player death and between half time. Running on a Sata 1 hard drive, but I don't see why that should be a problem after the long wait time. Anyone else having this issue?
I'm not sure how it was before the patch. It tells me to press B in the lower left corner in the few seconds between "jumping" to the location and jumping out of the dropship. It seems like a crappy way of letting players select one. They don't give you much time and you wouldn't know what to to unless you were told or noticed the notification in the corner.
I don't know, but as @GeneralOurumov00 says, the time window for pressing B before the match is quite brief, so if it takes longer for you to load the map now after the update, I suppose it's possible that you simply miss that first window...
Can't post the link, but head to the Respawn PC forums and look for a post called "*Requesting Response from Respawn regarding Load Times*" Unless you're referring to something other than the long loading times not allowing for Burn Card selection.
You can press escape and choose a burn card at any time for the first 15 seconds of the match. Upgrade your storage people.
