So I just reached gen 10 and going through my stats. I'm pretty sure I'm with the majority of using the R-101C carbine. I have used a total of 110,000+ ammo. Second highest is the CAR at 20k... What a major difference. Can we please get some variety in guns??? It feels to me, in favor of getting the best on someone the carbine is the choice of weapons. I play strictly attrition.. Who else agrees it's time to bring in comparable guns???

Dude, I totally get what you mean, I would love a slow firing, high damage rifle, sorta like the AK 47 or AN 94 in CoD. I defended this weapon when people have labelled it OP, it isn't OP just overused. They will do it sooner or later but its always in the context of not ruining the balance. And honestly how many guns actually get used in some other FPS games...everyone gravitates to the most stable or most powerful platform. A CAR without such a damage drop off would be nice... What I do to wean myself off of the Carbine is to play obj. Aggressive hardpoint class with the little 97 smg is awesome or indeed the shotgun (although I am not a fan)
Bring in a comparable assault rifle to have some variety. It's a shame that a carbine silencer runs through minions and pilots, but the smgs takes a full clip. I was a HC COD player from day 1 and not use to core modes. So I guess I'm going to my roots calling for more!!
I used to play HC FFA in MW3 and just loved it...haven't played HC in years though...I may have revisit it...
I c I completely agree. A gun with some more recoil would be fun to play around with, and try to master. I love using the R-97 smg during hardpoint matches. That gun paired with the Run and Gun kit is outstanding. Give it a try if you already haven't!
A gun with more recoil?? Have you ever tried the LMG at even a medium distance? The carbine is everyone's go to cause it's SO balanced. Range, Damage, Fire Rate... Recoil... C'mon now. I think you could see more Kraber, if it wasn't a bolt action (We have space ships, warp drives and badass robots) but still have bolt action rifles.... Seriously. I think you could see more of that other sniper rifle if it just wasn't so weak or maybe if you could atleast pull the scope off all together and use the Iron sights as like sharp shooter- which that other rifle could be used for but it's deceivingly weak.... The hemlock is making more of an appearance IMO. But weapons and Carbine's aside. It's just refreshing that not everyone falls into running around with a shotgun- like in many other shooters.
^^ haha. yeah that LMG is very difficult to use. But I think the muzzle flash adds to its inaccuracy. Once you unlock the sight for it, it's much easier to use and very effective. I just like those old school AK type weapons, higher power, slower fire rate, rip through walls type gun. lol.
