Killed a Flying Dragon

You can kill them in Boneyard also. They offer a nice chunk of XP but don't think about killing them with a unamped gun. it takes 2 40mm shots to kill one...

 

I farm these things for XP sooooo much

 

Cool, killing dragons for 100 exp.. Only an amped weapon?

In Angel city, there are some robots with green lights flying around, if you kill them they give you exp, at least thats what I read.

 

It is very difficult to kill fliers with only regular weapons (full clip of carbine aint bringing one down). It is possible with higher power bigger clip weapons or amped guns. But the most effective way to kill them is in Titans. Any titan weapon will kill a flier in under a clip.

Those are search drones. They come from campaign. I don't bother with them since they only offer I think 5XP per drone.

 

What maps have dragons?

 

Boneyard, Expedition Swampland, and I think some other maps I just cant quite remember.

 

The Search Drones are in Angel City, they give little exp, I think about 10 or so..

 

They only fly and sit sometimes or do they attack pilots / titans?

 

They do nothing. They are introduced in campaign and are actually Search Drones looking for Barker. They do nothing but be peaceful...

A measly 5XP.

 

I asked if the dragons attacks when you come to close when they sit. Would be kinda unfair if you also have to look out for drones besides pilots turrets minions and titans

 

Oh sorry for misunderstanding. They do not attack. They only attack AI, I think only grunts. But they do offer nice XP. Double XP burncard +40mm titan + fliers= 200xp a kill. That is like dooming a titan!

Never knew you could kill them. Is this because of the more recent patch updates? Earlier videos in March said you can't kill them so I never tried.

 

You were able to drones/fliers for a long time. I don't think a patch made it so. It was probably since the start.

 

I got drones before but never fliers. Will try that out. Thanks!

 

I like taking potshots to make them fly away...boring I know but hey...I didn't know what to say...
