That's good news (and a good mag to - never read that before)! When I saw that picture of Braben I thought "Wow - he's got OLD!". Then I remembered that he's only two years older than me He still sounds the same as in the old days though
LOL! Yes I know what you mean. Sometimes I catch a glimpse of some ugly old bald bloke in a shop window and think "Eurgh! WTF is that!?" and it's me Still. I refuse to age gracefully. Never too old to do anything.
First gaming machine was an Apple II. First console, NES First console I purchased, Xbox (original) First game i can recall really "beating", Sonic 2 on Genesis First game ever played online, Rainbow Six 3 on xbox (original) Btw, 29 yrs old. Gaming wasnt really a big thing in my life in early years, but major major in my teens through the present. Im a huge dork now with a huge retro collection now.
acorn electron which I still own! I also still have my spectrum 48k. The first console I owned was a Phillips videopack. Over the years I've owned these 3, a spectrum+2, Atari STFM, Amiga 1200, master system, nes (still got!), mega drive and cd32, Dreamcast, Atari Jaguar (still got!), PS 1,2 and 3, xbox, 360 and one, N64, gamecube (still got these 2), wii and a couple of gaming PC's. Obviously hate gaming with a passion...
First game i ever played was Duke Nukem, Wolfenstein and Doom... They were my dad's and I played them when he wasnt home. The first game I really played, on my own PC and competitively, was Counter Strike.
I watched/observed and then secretly played on my brothers consoles but I was too young to remember what they were, just know I screwed up a game save apparently even though I got further than they did, was a Zelda type game but it wasn't Zelda. Anyway that lead to parents buying me a NES as brothers protested I wasn't allowed to play on their console. TMNT, WWF, Mario & Airwolf were among the first few games I remember. After that it was Mega Drive & Mega Drive 2 with the usual Sonic, Street Fighter etc. First experience with online gaming I believe was C&C Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge on 56k dial up modem.
Wow, that was soo long ago, I think my first true video I ever did for gaming purposes was a recruitment video I did for CyberNations, then after that it would be a video for Perfect World...back when it was strictly a Malaysia based server...Oracle and Delphi...that was ages ago.
