Before you get your panties all in a bunch about the loss and lack of caps. I played my part by preventing grabs and caps. And yeah it's CTF but it's still impressive, my only death was a mistimed Satchel Charge
So to cut a long story short, you came 2nd last in your team...... Its CTF. Not Pilot Hunter etc. Try getting 51 kills in Pilot Hunter pal /sarcasm
But with no flag returns and a death that was a mistake which meant you never tried to play the objective and run with the flag. What help were you to your team?
I agree that it is an impressive number but even though you played defense, you let them capture 3 times. I can't imagine how the 2 Gen 8s in your team felt with this loss.
Who do you think tan the friendly pilots in a Titan? No cares for the g8's they need this win so have them earn it, one person got a cap, everyone else had one return, technically there was no shinng star in my team. And for the record both those G8's were absolutely aweful, I played against them the two previous matches, no love lost.
I never run the flag, never. But I'll take you there and bring you back. Had I not slayed everyone the game would have probably ended 6-1 way before the second half.
Your team had 10 flag return attempts and you got 1 capture so a 10% success rate of escorting is far from impressive so not sure if you would succeed in getting me back lol And 6-1 or 3-1 defeat is defeat.

Thank you, I never said, 51-1 and 6 caps 14 returns. All i said was 51-1 K/D. CTF is just not my thing, I love variety pack, but ill never run flag. I'll do just fine in domination and Marked for death. But Pilot Hunter and Attrition is where i excel at. I'm just a slayer, been that way since halo 2 days and it hasn't changed 10 years later.
To me its not that impressive that i got 50+ kills. It's the lack of deaths that makes me feel awesome. 51 chances for other pilots to get a kill on me and it just didn't happen. That's the impressive part.
Yes but if your playin CTF this isnt as difficult as you make it sound. Camp near your flag using Arc mines or satchel charges. Depending on what map you are using you can sit with a 100% gun sight coverage of your flag and just punish anyone who comes close. Call in a Titan and then go on a rampage whilst everyone else is trying to run the flag. You'd get a shit load of kills this way, admittedly 50 is a lot but considering there was 4 GEN 1 players it shouldnt be that 'l33t'. Also did u start with a Spare Stryder burn card? I'm not trying to put you down but that score is kind of misleading if people didn't know the game well.
Nope I have a routine for CTF. "Pull Rank" at respawn, that usually just means a few pilot kills then straight to my Titan. Usually go the first half with out dying. A "most wanted card" at second respawn. Satchel charges yes, never use grenades.
I've noticed that my PvP K/D goes up on CTF. I suppose a lot of it is the rookie enemy pilots running blindly to and from the capture points. CTF is one of the more team orientated modes and the actual MVP may not be the one with the most captures or returns, but the one who stopped most of their players or defended more of your own.
Yeah I mean I play alone most of the time and half the people ether don't have a mic or are in a Party, so communication is usually nonexistent. Half the time I do t even waste my time trying to run Flag. I just play my part. Get my kills and skills up.
Running to one side of the map to capture the flag just to get marked for death and then running it back home is very difficult. Getting 30+ pilots kills is really easy when you run around picking off pilots in CTF who are just camping, marked, or looking for the mark. If you play solo in CTF and want to win.... Good Luck...
51 kills is very impressive, but to me it's all about the objective. Wins and loses mean more than k/d (in my opinion).
