I can only play the campaign in multiplayer, where i'm being thrown into a random point in the campaign and being switched to the other side almost on every map. I have no clue what the story actually is (there is one, right?) because the story lines are all mixed up. So, how do i play the campaign from start fo finish for one side?
Unfortunately, they mixed up the Campaign missions. Instead of being in a chronological order, they are now more random . Not sure I agree with their decision. I believe you still need to play them so you are able to "unlock" your Titans(?).........has been a while since I played the campaign when it first came out. They should have allowed the player to choose the side they want to play for, then progress thru the missions.
Well, in the current state it's not what qualifies as campaign IMO. Shouldn't have bothered with season pass on black friday sale. Everyone seems to play only attrition anyways and even then current player numbers in my region are only a good thousand. Seems pretty dead already
What region are you connected to? I still find most game types available. There's never been a "Campaign" as you'd find in most types of game. It's basically multiplayer with a very slightly extended cut scene before the battle.
Unfortunately... it don't work like that in the Titanfall world... would be nice... but... it is what it is. Hope your enjoying the game.
I got to play some of the original campaign and you got to play through the missions in order and from memory you played all of them as Militia and then you could choose IMC. There was no requirement to win to progress so I ended up with a number of maps without a win for both sides. Not long after, the update was applied to make it the current format. It then becomes a massive grind if you want to get the Elite Militia and IMC achievements as you have no control over the map or which side you play for. I eventually completed with Militia but after more than probably 100 'campaign' games, I can't get the IMC one. I tried again for a while last night but the final map I needed never came up. I had to change from my default data centre of Australia to the west US one to get a game so lag was an issue. If you're not interested in the campaign achievements I probably wouldn't bother with it.
Yeah that can be a pain. Don't remember how long it took me to get that last campaign win. Might have popped in and out of campaign lobbyist for a few days before I finally found the right one. Good timing or good luck... I'm hoping you get it soon just to get it out of the way.
