Vince Zampella the CEO of Respawn Entertainment just confirmed that Titanfall 2 will not be revealed at E3 2015. We also get more information about when the reveal can occur and also the release period of the game becomes a lot more clear.
I'm happy with this. Too many games coming out that look good. It'd be a shame to ignore them due to Titanfall 2!!
Which in turn (to me) means be looking forward to (when that time does come) a great sequel that was well worth the wait. Do what you do best Respawn.
With it being multiplatform, they'll need a bit more spit and polish too. I hope to Christ that Windows 10 and DX12 have the grunt to ensure it runs in a par with the ps4 version. Can't be arsed with all the fan boi nonsense that will spout otherwise. I'd not be able to hide away from it as it'll be a game in really interested in.
I'm actually better with this decision. Take your time, polish the game and they're going to deliver an epic like they always do. No need to rush anything.
They said, ''No Official Name yet'', I believe that this game may not be called ''Titanfall 2''. It may be merged with Respawn's other project. And if not, I reckon that it might not have Number 2 and instead a subtitle. Still this is good, but I don't think it will come out until early 2017. There very hard at work at it. So more maps, better story, better mechs, and better mechanics. I just hope, more mechs, more classes. Class customization at start. I want a mech that has powerful weaponry but sacrifices armour and speed. That would be an awesome mech. And new weapons, plus ammo dispensers. Because I don't just want the Titan to be an Ammo dispenser for itself and other Mechs. Also, better number of players, I want 2 Million players at once everyday. Titanfall 1 only has 2,000. And sometimes only in double digits. Unless, use a Drivatar style system combined with Left 4 Dead's AI system to make it a single player game with bots. But Mech Customization is a must. I would love to colour mechs. And Class Customization must be unlocked at start. And also, more sniper rifle types.
Can't wait!!! I prefer less/no customisation as this takes up valuable space. Space that can be used for more weapons, titans, maps etc. I don't see my Pilot or Titan while playing so don't really see the point. Suppose I'm getting old.
I really think that the ethos that drove the first will drive the second. Whilst I believe they will spend more time on some sort of campaign, whatever shape that takes, I don't see them changing the way the Multiplayer looks. It is spartan in terms of options, weapons, customisation and so forth to keep it beautifully balanced and clean. I would wager that the next iteration of Multiplayer will be much the same as the current one. I think that DLC maps will be free this time as they did mention they liked the idea of that rather than charging which then splits the crowd.
I like this and I hope it happens that way. I didn't get the DLC until later so when I finally played the new maps I felt left behind. Y'all (well at least some of you) know how hard it is playing catch-up. Fingers crossed.
