Hey all, saw an awesome trick a couple of times on the weekend, I would've completely loved the idea had it not killed me. This smart pistoller was hurling grenades in the direction of his target, as he hurled them, the smart pistol locked on he would them shoot them to detonate them over my head thus killing me. I watched the kill cam, thought "wow what a good idea..." I then went on too lose my shit and hurl my monitor out the window. But seriously, nice idea. Worked brilliantly for this guy.
Honestly that's a cool technique. I am a history buff of WW1 I paricular so this reminds me of the fact shrapnel fr overhead explosions killed more soldiers in that war than anything else Now smart pistols may stern trying this more but of course they are limited to 2 or 3 grands per life and as most veterans know, most smart pistols normally stop to aim and are sitting ducks anyhow!

Managed to get 2 or 3. Nothing I do on a regular basis. I'm more partial to throwing them. Surprisingly, you can pick up some First Blood kills.
Now THIS is more like it, although it's a much tamer SP thread compared to old Where have all the SP moaners gone btw? Did we scare them all off?
I was really surprised everyone didn't jump on this, we're all waiting for the end of the year for a new bunch of games to moan about.
Shhhhh!!!!!... Don't mess with that hornets nest. Though... it has been some time since the last rousing fun filled debate regarding the pro's and con's of the SP and it's users.
I hate when I get killed by one but I feel like the biggest troll when I use it and it makes me smile.
For sure the are thriving lot. Just played a few games and killed the same guy with a SP squatting in the same corner. There are some pretty savvy pistoleros... as well as a few not so savvy ones that keep it really fun.
Used to hate the smart pistol when first started, but have learned to love it - used in the right way it can be very devastating vs some of the other weapons!, of course it has it's downfalls though, like being stuck in the middle of vicious firefight!
Never heard of a right way to use the smart pistol... and I my self have made a video of a smart pistol. But there is nothing "Positive" about the smart pistol, no "right way" there is just, run around and don't aim or even pull the left trigger way. I'm not SALTY or going on kicking a dead horse... but I cannot appreciate or recognize someone as being a "Skilled" player who uses a smart pistol. Those words do not belong in a sentence together.
Certainly see the 'pesky' side of SP's, when I first started playing I kept on getting smoked (trying to employ COD type tactics) with all these wall hangers & spider type SP's hiding everywhere! it almost put me off the game some time back. I only got into using it over the last couple of months, most of the Gen 10's here in NZ & Aus seemed to be whipping up a storm with them, so I thought I'd go through the task of getting into it. Absolutely useless when you come around a corner and so too does an automatic wielding warrior at you - but I've found that learning to wall run well from wall to wall (which took me ages) meant that the SP could be used effectively to it's own. But, after just signing up here on this forum I've been spending a bit of time in Attrition & Campaign on the US servers. Smart Pistol no good there except in capture the flag where everyone is running away from you anyway, seems many players that end of the world have a bit of a immunity to SP's, where I've thought the good tactic would work out someones just 'wandered' up below me and knocked my off my perch. Must be just us down here! a lot of guys using it one minute coming at you next minute behind you dropping you. We are however, generally 2 years behind the rest of you must I add to my defense. I think learning on all the other weapons first makes you better, the smart pistol seems to be a bit more of a luxury. For a good shoot out there is nothing that matches automatic weapons in a game.
i always try to di that but have failed badly i tryed doing it on somebody else and ended up killing my self after failing several or more then multiple times i stop trying it pisses me off when they do it to me

Speaking of OP weapons (yeah, you heard me) how funny would it be if they had noob toobs like in CoD from years ago, I would pay for an old fashioned RPG as a pilot in this game.
