The War Games map intro is pretty good. Acknowledges Gen, tells you what it is (a simulation) Training Grounds could be that... a bootcamp or something like the Militia attacking a training base. It shouldn't come up every match though, that itself would get kinda repetitive.
After playing, or at least trying to play, a few old games and a new one, I have come to some ideas about what I want in the next TF2. First, I really am happy about the SP campaign. I do not always have time to play with other people, and I am tired of getting kicked from games because my skills aren't as good as the other players. (ask me later) . Sometimes I just want to play a quick mission, alone and try different things. Second, I want a "stupid-silly-far-too-easy setting " in the campaign. I would love to be able to finish it without too much trouble and see if I can learn a few things before I get all cocky and think I am "uber-pilot"! Third, more attachments for our weapons. Maybe Laser Sights, Under barrel Nades, Drones, Crossbow, Booby Traps stuff, imaginative stuff. Maybe some stealthy weapons too. Hover Boards.............just as long as they don't burn up the place!!! Fourth, don't put too much stock in making the player always start over as you complete levels. I am happy at the lowest level right now, and have all the weapons I need. Fifth, ability to modify your character in game as well as Titan. Many of us have said this again and again. Maybe vests of color so we can suit up ourselves as a team. Sixth, make it as playable, and as good looking as the game is now. Not too much of a hardware curve. This game stills looks amazing.
I'd be the guy who finds low levels and offers them trades like 5 different common burncards to lure them in as they give me an insta-titan....
I'd happily swap any amped pistol for an insta-titan. Or spectre camo cards. Or conscription. Or turbo engine. Just sayin'. Keep me in mind....

Well, if we're going to talk about "Burn Cards"....................then I want a Burn card that gives you......................................... IF you are over the age of 55, then this card gives you: Unlimited Health, ammo, and God Mode all combined for at least ONE round!
Or a mario cart burn card that uses a lightning bolt to make all your opponents very small while it plays different music and allows you to kill them by walking over them as a pilot.
Screw it, throw in a blue shell while you're at it. An unkillable flaming Nuke Eject stryder starts dashes toward the MVP until he's dead....
An extra ability per titan would be nice. The Stryder could have the ability to leap a distance to help close ground / flee. The ogre could hunker down making it immobile and unable to attack, but become completely impenetrable (even nukes) for a time. The atlas could have a part deployed vortex shield for a small time, yet still have the ability to attack. I still think EVERY MULTIPLAYER MATCH should start as they do in the campaign with a short cutscene. It really paints a picture before the match that you're fighting for a reason and toward a goal. It makes the match much more immersive.
Don't know if anyone else may have said, but RottweilerluvNZ would love to be able to 'trade burn cards'. Although this would probably be real hard to incorporate, imagine if you could? Trade them into the game (like the blackmarket but trade in as well as buy) or with friends? You know, I want some legs so I offer you an amped 40mm or something? Would be pretty cool. Dreams are free!!. PS: Would also love to be able to have a record of matches, I always forget to screen shot the real good ones.
