Hi Pilots, I've been addicted to TitanFall on the XBox for a couple of years now and bought TF2 on the release day having played the Beta. I've played TitanFall 2 pretty much since (even thou I also bought Battlefield 1 at the time, and COD infinity War - Game sale £20. Amazed that they've discounted it already! I wouldn't have paid full price for it!). The user name is a bit of a reaction to people with macho names, and yes, I am slightly older! Anyway, nice to meet you all!
Welcome from one old "duffer" to another. I am DARK BAWGS on Xbox. Like u I bought the other two but don'play them.
TitanFall 2 is amazingly smooth! (I should say at this point, that I don't get up at 4am in the morning to post, I'm in England!). Finished Infinity War, but as with all the recent COD's it's all a bit meh! (Although better than advanced warfare). Always back to TitanFall! Nice to know there's some older gamers out there (my system career went - Commodore 64, Commodore Amiga A500, assorted PC's, PlayStation, X Box, 360, then X Box one). Halo converted me to X box.
Welcome aboard pilot. I'm glad you were able to enjoy the first Titanfall for a couple of years. That was and is still my favorite video game of all time. I'm glad you are enjoying Titanfall 2 more than Battlefield 1 and COD Infinite Warfare. What made me fall in love with the first one was the feel of it, the responsiveness of it. Every other game I try (even ones I've paid full price for) get shelved very quickly and right back to TF1, because of the feeling of freedom and expressiveness. I'm a little older as well. Older just means wiser when it comes to military strategy. Glad to have a Brit in our community.
Thanks, I still go back to TitanFall whenever I'm loading anything (it was the game that came with my x box). I love that game and I'm excited that they're releasing old maps on TitanFall 2. Yes, I have to say in TF I had a good kill to death ratio, on TF2 I have no idea (which I guess is the point, as I was probably to cautious for the designers of TF!). I don't care much for open spaces and prefer titans! It's nice to be here, thanks for the welcome!
Come on EN you are still a spring chicken, hell I have socks older than you... seriously I agree with age comes a better understanding of strategy, only because we learned from all the mistakes of the past. Henry Ford reportedly said "...failure is only another form of education." If that is true I am the best educated person on this Forum... Cheers
Thanks DARK! I am happy if I am still a spring chicken. I just meant compared to a lot of gamers being teenagers or early twenties. Yes, this lesson has proved true a lot for me at work this past year. It was a very aggravating and frustrating year, but because of it, I probably learned more in the past year than I had in the 5 years prior to that combined. And yes, you are a very smart cookie DARK.
I concur that this place has a "few" older members......... If you remember "rotary dial phones", and B&W tv with just ABC, CBS and NBC....................I'm with you! Besides, those Titans don't know how old you are.................
