yes, exactly, after the last pach, reapers take more damage, but i don't know yet if they still do the same damage to titans,
it's annoying, fighting enemy titans and and reapers alike, those tiny robots must not be as dangerous as a titan!

Yeah, get the damn Reapers out of the game. They should have been a Single Player only cutesy thing like the ticks. Both of those shouldn't be in the multiplayer.

they do feel out of place at times , they take a punch from a titan and still come charging at me with minimal effect from my titan hit.

the reapers need to be tweaked a bit.

Dude. Your condescension aside, what I originally said seemed necessary as I note from your previous posts that rather than get better at the game you would prefer to get on here and complain about it. Only to have your fragile ego stroked by other equally fragile little things who are equally too challenged by a change of context and because its too hard. And to top it all of you decide to condescend to me, a anonymous person on an internet forum because you lack backbone and substance to say such things in real life. Have a nice day.

I just have to say that comparing titan play in TF2 to titan play in TF1 is like comparing apples to oranges. TF1 gave you strong, fast titans with fully customizable loadouts and regenerating shields. They were extremely fun to play and allowed you to feel like you were free and could express yourself. TF2 gives you weak, slow titans with preset loadouts and no regenerating fields that feel like you might as well be in a cardboard box. For me, there is not an ounce of freedom or self expression felt in these titans. And, I have no desire to even try to get "good" at fighting in them, because they never should have been this way. This will sound like it could be a Titanfall reference, but I mean this to be like more of a real life reference. It is like if you had gotten used to going into battle against the enemy with a 40MM cannon and now you commander hands you a BB gun and says here fight with this instead. And you are like, "What?!!!!" And he say, "Oh no, trust me, it'll be the same, you just have to learn how to fight with the BB gun." No thanks! You can keep your damn BB gun. I'm not interested.

You'd be surprised how much longer you can survive in your Titan if you play to its strengths and have a decent team. Part of that is also helped if you have teammates who understand the value of batteries and hustle to help as much as they can. However, I think the battery element needs to be more amped up.

It is, what it is. Sometimes my titan gets wrecked it seems as soon as I get into it. Other times it's as if my Titan has a big S on his chest and I'm only missing my cape.

You know, with the Titan longevity subject...

I actually think, and hear me out, that the titans suit the speed and pace of each game. 3 or 4 titans in an attrition game? Ok then..

In tf1 I loved lasting as long as possible, indeed I do in tf2, but I'm excited to get back in pilot mode and kick your brain into warp speed mode..then I'm excited again when my titan drops, and flip into that mode which still exists in this titanfall as it did in tf1, albeit in quicker cycles.

But Ive accepted that and enjoy the variety in each match.

agreed , the concept of the class based titans have a lot of potential . but still feel limited and restrained at times , the concept of team play in titanfall 2 will need a bit more than the battery's IMO to promote team play. and i agree the battery element needs to be amped up .

would have like to have seen the battery system implemented in the multiplayer like what they did in the single player campaign with battery boxes around the map regenerating every so often and to pick it up a titan just needs to walk over it or have an animation to pick it up. i am curious how this would play out in the multiplayer , if it will enhance the game play or otherwise.

That's fine in the single player mode, but it would make the entire battery/rodeo mechanic useless in multiplayer.

In my experience, I find that players almost universally ignore battery call outs. I can't count how many times I call out a friendly Titan right in front of me to alert him that I have a battery for him and he keeps on running. It's like I'm not doing this for MY health, I'm doing it for YOUR health. I think that battery call outs should be made to be more emphasized and important.

Another key to Titan survival is to know when to drop your Titan and where to drop it. Unless you're trying to crush an enemy Titan with your drop, it's best to drop it away from the conflict so you don't start eating damage immediately (unless your plan is to run kamikaze and do a nuclear ejection). You also must know how many enemy Titans are on the field. If the enemy team already has 3 or more Titans on the battlefield and you'd be the only one on your side, you may want to hold your drop until your friendly Titans start coming or the enemy Titans are taken down. No Titan will win a 1 vs 3/4/5/6 battle unless you are incredibly skilled or your opponents are incredibly unskilled.
