I really do love this game but it is just so boring, playing ATT people just camping with out killing anybody just waiting for their Titan, Pilots the same people just camping, coliseum is... well pointless. There just is no point playing this game now every mode is just boring, same thing happening on every game.

I hear what you are saying but don't totally share your view. Yes there are some things that get a bit boring, like so few maps and a lack of a meaningful Regeneration process. However it is only as boring as you choose to make it. If you make it a challenge to take something you are weak at and get proficient with it, that to me is not boring as you focus on your goal.

I think that as we go forward things will improve and we will all be very happy and excited with this game.

I have been doing that changing load-outs using different boosts, i can only play 3-4 games in a row before i get too bored, i loved the first game also and still go back to it but this one just doesn't tickle my fancy has much.
Think i will go and play some GoW 4 and come back to this after a few weeks.
like i said before i do absolutely love this game but it just doesn't hold my attention as much as the first one, i don't know why but attrition is the worst, with players camping in rooms and not even making an effort to shoot/kill any one just to get their titan, i feel that if you don't do anything you don't get anything. May be it's just the new generation a players i don't l know.
If anybody wants to play afew games please feel free to add me GT-unclefrank666 on Xbox One.
    Cheers for the replies.

Yeah, I completely agree with all of this. I know why it is for me.

-The main thing is the titans (they are slower, weaker, you don't get them as often and they don't last as long). Also, not having regenerating shields removes the stick and move option, which is my preferred fighting style. I felt like I could truly express myself in TF1 titans. TF2 titans feel more like a temporary boost and like you are fighting from inside of slow, flimsy cardboard box that is going to last about 2 seconds. Oh, and I didn't even mention that you can't fully customize your loadouts, which also removes some of the ability for self expression.

-Next is the pilot ground speed. The air speed and Stim might actually be better, but this is all erased if you touch the ground for even a fraction of a second, because it is like slamming on the brakes. In TF1, your momentum was maintained even when you touched the ground. This killing of momentum in TF2 also removes more of the ability for self expression for me.

-Almost every unnecessary design change was tailored to please the traditional FPS crowd. The slower and weaker titans. The slower ground speed of the pilots. The smaller, choke-pointed maps. The removal of the smart pistol. And on and on... To me, the beauty of TF1 was that it was not a traditional FPS game, but TF2 is basically a traditional FPS game with temporary titan boosts. All of this has made TF2 an FPS clan magnet, which has exacerbated the problem of Respawn already not having a good matchmaking algorithm.

These are the main reasons it does not hold my attention like the first one.

Oh, and not to mention that the only mode I truly enjoy playing, Amped Hardpoint, was essentially dead on the PC in less than 2 months after the game came out.

I don't even go into my titan anymore i just use it to either follow me or guard, the titans in this game are just plain rubbish with nearly everybody using Ion or Ronin. I can't find anything to do on this game to make me play it for long periods of time.

I've only played Colliseum mode once when the game first came out... haven't been back since. Have amassed nice collection of those Colliseum tickets though.

Yeah, having it follow you is sort of like having a mobile Pilot Sentry, except it doesn't last as long as a Pilot Sentry. :)

    I've accumulated 515 Coloseum Tickets...

I've played the Mode 6 times tops......

    It's a waste of time...

Getting a Coloseum Ticket as an Advocate Gift in our house is an On going joke.

So is being awarded Credits. They are useless......I have 13,000

It's obvious at this point the game was rushed to the market.......lack of content is undeniable....

    Useless Credits.....

I guess one of these days I'll go Ape Shit and use all my Coloseum Tickets...

From what I'm told u win Banners and patches.......which are another useless feature in this game.

Attrition is certainly where a pilot can really test themselves yes, but on the flip side it's straight and narrow, I caution myself saying this or anything further about the mode I know a lot of TF players lean towards Attrition is the mark of the pilot which is cool.

Have a go at trying to get into CTF or Bounty, both can become very addictive especially once you start catching flags or winning Bounty matches. And because your doing something other than just killing, it begins to drive you.

Always got to play the mode.

Campers are always going to camp, and everyone does it now and then surely. Personally I don't see much of it in the game it's too fast, I think in Bounty you have to be mindful going to banks though, smoke grenades help with this. I feel your pain though I went away to BF1 to be honest, but have recently decided nope - I'm going to at least Gen 10 this and are hammering away now to finish that off although there is no point lol.

I just had my first free for all match today, got butt whipped, loved it. Chop and change through the modes, always seems to perk you up I reckon.

For me CTF gets the blood pumping, pilot killing, titan killing, running the flag or running down a carrier, just gold.

Bounty would be my 2nd fav.

Don't forget there is always TF1! been going on there a lot lately too, cool as chips like always on TF1.

Yeah, this is upside down, backwards logic that infuriates me. Many said TF1 had a lack of content, but the multiplayer allows you to fully express yourself and had a large playground from day 1 (15 large, well designed maps), which grew to 24 maps within 7 months. It also had a Multiplayer Campaign that still facilitates being able to play Hardpoint Domination even almost 3 years after release even though the actual Hardpoint Domination lobby died about 7 to 9 months into the game.

Some think the Single Player Campaign, camos, banners, patches and levelling up weapons and titans are adding significant content that TF1 didn't have.

The Single Player Campaign was great, but I played it once for about 10 hours and that's it, so how did TF1 not having a Single Player Campaign mean it lacked content? In my opinion, having a Single Player Campaign wasted vast amounts of time and resources that could have been spent on at least more maps for the Multiplayer Campaign, which is where most players would spend 100s if not 1000s of hours. So why waste so much time on something that lasts 10 hours? Such a giant waste in my opinion. Vince Zampella even said almost this exact same thing himself in one of his interviews during the release of TF1. So, basically TF1 lacked 10 hours of content there.

camos, banners and patches - these add nothing to me. I don't even look at them. If I do notice them, it just reminds me of how much time was wasted including these unnecessary things that add nothing to the functionality of the game. TF1 lacked nothing by not having these.

levelling up weapons and titans - if there is no reward that changes the funcitionality of the weapon or titan, then there is no point. TF1 lacked nothing by not having this.

TF2 is the one that actually lacks content. You cannot customize your titan loadouts, which actually does affect functionality. TF1's release had 33% more maps than TF2 has after being out for almost 4 months. TF1 had a Multiplayer Campaign that allowed you to continuing playing Hardpoint Domination when it's lobby had died, whereas TF2's Amped Hardpoint lobby died on the PC in less than 2 months with no alternative way to get a game. TF1 had challenges you had to complete in order to be able to Regenerate, whereas everyone just gets a participation trophy in TF2. TF1 had a complete Frontier Defense coop mode. TF1 had a Rank System where you could challenge yourself and put your skills up against others.

It is very obvious to me that it is TF2 is the one that is severely lacking in the content that matters and TF1 was packed with the content critical to ongoing play for months or years and it said "pffft" to wasting time on any of the nonsense that adds nothing to the functionality or challenge of the game.

yep agreed, what is the point of using a ticket to play another player 1 on 1 , what do we get , gold dogtags to a list , an unlock ? i never understood this ticket gift , it does noting substantial for in game content.
i could understand getting more tickets when playing the mode to use on dlc that one has to use real money for but instead use the gold ticket to unlock .
