So Iv been having super high pings no matter what data center I pick, it jumps between 200 to 350, and it has even been 400+. I live in China, but even the Taiwan and Hong Kong data centers have high ingame ping, but low title screen pings, Taiwan servers having 29 ping, and Hong Kong having 161.

Download speed is 48.96 Mbps, but highest it's been is 60~Mbps.
Upload speed is 4.14, Highest it's been is 5-7 Mbps.
Packet loss 11% but it jumps up and down.
    Mtu 1480
    Latency 204 ms.

Anyone have any idea on how to fix this? I played I ton of Titanfall 1 , but I never got 400+ ping.

Update: I should mention, the first 2 games I played before I started the campaign had low ping, but after I started it, multiplayer starting giving me high pings.

Sounds like ISP issues maybe? could ask the ISP to check it.

Are you hard wired or wireless?

I get high pings but only when going to other servers, 168 - 250 on some.

400 sounds outrageous. Also, you are not running any updates or anything? or other comps/consoles on your network sucking up net juice?

Even if I'm the only one connected to the internet, it still has high ping, and I doubt my ISP will do anything, I just got a guy to come check why my internet was so slow, and he says that there is no problem, (which I don't believe).

I have experienced awful lag in Tf2 since the game first came out. I still played the game a gazillion hours because it's the most fun game I ever played. And the game didn't lag horribly EVERY game. I could go a few hours without seeing bad lag. But then it would hit that cycle and the lag was unbearable. Well 5 months later still horrible lag , in fact it's the worst I've seen since the game came out because the bad lag has been much more consistent than ever.

I was getting some really bad 2000+ spikes but they disappeared after 10 seconds or so. I put it down to my connection. But it sounds like it could be something more.

A 204 ping is pretty bad. Contact your ISP and ask for a low latency profile, you'll give up some of your download/upload speeds in return for a sexy ping. :)

Yea that's pretty bad alright, I don't have a great broadband, but can clock 50 - 60 on the Aussie servers from NZ, if 200 + on your local one then I'd be fuming!!!

Do you have your Ethernet cable plugged into a router or directly to the modem itself ?

Sounds a lot like what I was experiencing. Loose cable was the culprit.

I fixed the problem by buying a "game booster" service, it works like a vpn, where you add it to your router, and it speeds up your connection in gaming, now im under 100 ping, also I rarely get dc'ed now

I have the same problem. I highly recommend checking out a thread on the EA site a player created. He has a ton of experience in the networking field in the gaming industry.

His name is magikfingers and the title of the thread is "latency experiment". It's really interesting. He put in a bunch of effort into it and he explains why he started the "experiment". (Bc he never had "lag" issues and thought people were crazy when they brought it up. Then one day bam lag problems that haven't stopped to this day)

    Seriously highly recommended

There's definitely a big problem with lag in this game. I can't see new players sticking with it with such a bad problem like this. I improved the lag drastically by plugging the ps4 Ethernet cable directly into the modem , before I had it plugged into my router ( I have no idea why his helped) But today I was seeing the OTHER teams lag a lot. It's totally an unacceptable problem but we know respawn and EA are not going to fix it .

I know there are people on this message board who don't experience the lag but the problem definitely exists and many people experience it.
