NEW CONTENT [PURCHASABLE] Prime Titan: Ronin Prime Titan: Tone Camos 20 new camos Callsigns and Patches 20 Callsigns and 20 Patches [including Nessie and Spicy Boy patches!] Nose Art 5 new Nose Arts and 1 new Warpaint MATCHMAKING AND NETWORK IMPROVEMENTS You can now invite friends to Network in-game. Added “confirm” dialogue when inviting a friend to Network. Will no longer show the “invite friends to network” button if it’s not allowed for active Network or if the Network is invite only and the player is not an admin. GAME IMPROVEMENTS Update to Crashsite map. Fixed around 100 instances of getting bumped, bonked, stuck or tripped up. During the clean-up, we also wanted to experiment with more mobility options. To that end we’ve added 8 ziplines to get around the map faster and a few more wallrunning locations. TITAN BALANCE General Titan Meter and Core Meter are now gained when damaging shielded Titans. Slightly reduced Core Meter generation from damage to compensate. Titan executions are no longer blocked by shields. Ion Laser Shot now requires more energy, preventing you from double tapping opponents. Reduced Laser Shot damage. Laser Core damage slightly decreased. PILOT BALANCE New Pilot Kit 2: Titan Hunter - Killing a Titan rewards 10% bonus to your Titan meter. Pilot Weapons Volt Near damage and amped near damage increased. Added a small amount of viewkick. Flatline Damage and amped damage reduced to bring it in line with other assault rifles. R-201 and R-101 Very far damage slightly increased. Devotion Damage and amped damage reduced. It should now require ramping up to be more effective than the Spitfire. DMR Amped DMR damage reduced to 80 for a bodyshot. P2016 Near damage reduced. Very far damage value added, reducing the pistol’s damage at distance. R-97 Very far damage reduced. Tactikill Mod Cooldown reduction per kill lowered to 25% from 35%. Melee Fixed issue with melee attacks not hitting near corners. Improved hit accuracy when there is a height difference between players. GAME MODE ADJUSTMENTS: Prevent phase shift players from earning meter by phase dropping the flag and then picking it back up. Private match will no longer display win/loss messages as those are not tracked in Private Matches. You can now skip the kill replay in Live Fire and Last Titan Standing matches. MISC BUG FIXES Players dying inside their Titan will no longer award a “Pilot Assist”. Pilots no longer considered idle and be kicked while rodeoing. Fixed issue with Pilots getting stuck after grappling out of a rodeo near a ceiling. Fixed issue with store where bundles would still show as purchasable after you already bought them. Fixed issue with open invites not showing the correct icon for joined members. Fixed several rare crash bugs. P.S. This sounds like one of those things that might seem like a little thing, but is really a huge thing. One of the frustrating things to me with TF2 is how it seemed like such a downgrade on something so simple as the ease with which to invite friends into a game that you are already in. This sounds like it might be a step towards improving that.
yes, the system to invite friends and let them join the game effectively is very important for a mp game! so, yes, is a step in the right direction i find good the buff for r101, i love that weapon and for Volt, i'll try that weapon but the nerf for flatline, not so good it's already a very unaccurate weapon, so reduce its damage... mmm we'll see nerf to ion, that is not good, the spliter rifl does very little damage, the laser compensates that, and now the damage is reduced, so it needs two shots to kill one pilot, come on
yeah, the Volt is a good one. I started with the C.A.R. SMG and it was OK then tried the Alternator and liked that a lot better then tried the Volt and liked that better than the Alternator then tried the R-97 and that is where I stayed. I'm not very accurate, so I need the maximum fire rate. (more chances to maybe hit something) The Volt is a good one though.
would like to see a variety of weapon sights, i welcome the r101 c with the original titanfall red dot and aug sight. heck even more variants would be cool. i must admit as for balancing in the game i was afraid that respawn would go down the same road like bf4 with too much weapon balancing and titan balancing , this is an ongoing issue in games , i say keep it simple have base models of weapons and just apply the different sounds and look and feel , keep the damage ro time to kill down to just a handful . it is one of the reason i did not 100 percent supported class titan class rather than custom loadouts. it is just a lot more work and more intricate balancing that is needed to bring it to a close to perfect balance. not saying this cannot be done but it take a lot of time and effort to get it close to perfection or complete. the team when making the first game knew time and other things would affect the game and like magic they had a simple concept which in it's own way became a masterpiece. sometimes in life when one overthinks a problem sometimes forgets the objective which they started out to achieve. this is something that happen even to the best.

Yes exactly, and so much unnecessary work that will have to be thrown in the scrap heap where it belongs when we do the right thing and start with TF1 as the base to create TF3. It was and still is an absolute masterpiece. The far superior game, especially with regard to titans. The great idea would be to remove it completely. Wasting valuable resources on it is like putting lipstick on a pig that should have been aborted before it ever made it out of it's mother's womb.
that is a terrible analogy, at least they try to fix the map they need more ressources to create new maps than to modify one anyway i still want new maps with context of the war on the frontier many new maps, seriously
maybe a little graphic, sorry. I was just trying to say that Crash Site (and Complex for that matter) are 2 maps that never even should have made it out of the concept phase. I have seen so many people say how bad Crash Site is and it's not about glitches that need to be fixed. It's just a horrible design. Every time I see it come up, it's like, "Ugghhh!!! Do I just leave? Or, stay and let the other team win so we can get this over quickly?" It would be better to remove it from the rotation and not waste any resources on it when there are more important things that need to be done (like actual new maps, fixing the lag problem some are having, actually implementing a good matchmaking algorithm, actually implementing an anticheat system). Even one minute spent fixing a map that should have never been included when it could be better spent on real needs is a colossal waste of time.
This new monarch class titan is soooooo close to what I used to run in TF 1, if it was a stryder class it'd be exact.
That's cool! I really wish they would allow full customization. I'd be OK if I could start with Tone, but then switch to a Stryder chassis and cluster missiles.
That's not very constructive. You don't like that map but I run with a group of five and Crash Site and Complex are in our top three favorite maps from launch. The maps exist. They're done. They're there. Save your breath on it. They expand the rotation and both add a different dimension to batttles, being as they're incredibly one of a kind compared to the other maps.
Hey, don't shoot the messenger. I'm not alone in feeling this way about the map. It only took me a few minutes to find these. I could probably find a lot more if I wanted to.
I'm not shooting the messenger. I'm shooting the message. Yes. There are people who don't like it. That's all you're going to read on here are people who don't like it. People who DO like it don't log on and say "hey! I really like crash site". Because they don't need or want it fixed or changed. What I'm saying is if you want something changed or fixed lean in a direction of addition and improvement. Not everyone likes crash site. But I hate Angel City and I'm not on here telling them to get rid of it. It's a map. They're not all going to be to your liking. Tell respawn what you want added, not removed.
I don't like Crash Site but I'm with @TheThunderbeard on this one, I don't want it removed. I'm actually really excited to try it with improved collision mechanics, zip lines and more wall running opportunities.
Tiny bit gutted about Ions' nerf, cos thats the one I'm genning up lately. Still, it needed one really, (apart from laser core). Real pleased about the volt, this may revive it.. good decision about flatline controversially, its ttk was nearly up there wih the alternator! And relic! Not quite smugglers cove but should be ace with the increased mobility. Crash site was my least fave too, being an 'awkward' map, but I'm interested to see if the new changes will help it be more fluid. Obviously its gonna be monarch central for a while ao we'll see how the balance settles down after a while.... And did you see Ronin primes execution!!! . Whens it dropping today anyway?!?! I need a go before I go to work!!!
I know what you mean, but damage values probably aint that strong, like the ole XO-16 of tf1 for example..
