Simulacrum pilots vs human, eh, I am tired of being a robot but it you want stim than it is what it is. Seems a bit strange now I think about it this far into TF2 vs TF1 where you could have stim. Would be great if you could choose either or, maybe you can upgrade and have the old 'prosthetic' legs if you are going to use stim or something, like the burn card on TF1 says somewhere the likes - "We're going to start, by removing your legs..." Not sure how they'd incorporate phase shift, but then in campaign you can use it as human. Not sure if anyone's brought it up before, but I have been wondering about it for some time. It would be awesome if you could choose. Even more so, what about an introduction of new species of pilots? similar to Mass Effect or Star Wars? Or would that be too, Mass Effect & Star Wars'y?....food for wonder!.
What I've seen brought up on the official forums that I think is an amazing idea.. you have 'Prime' Pilots just like they have the 'Prime' Titans.
Yeah, you know Rott, now that you bring it up, I'm not a fan of the whole robot looking pilots. I prefer all pilots to look human. I mean, sure in TF1 you had the Prosthetic legs burn card, but it didn't have to change your appearance.
yes great idea there is this robot pilot with the syringe, to run and heal faster wtf a robot!? with a syringe? where does a robot inyect a syringe? in metal?
Great point Derrame! The overall lack of thinking things through and lack of attention to detail engineering-wise might not seem like a big deal to some, but you could tell every little detail and every little engineering and physics calculations were painstakingly thought through and done almost perfectly in TF1 and it just makes the whole game feel so much more realistic and solid. Not so cartoony as TF2 is. It's like TF2 was thrown together quickly to attract kids, like, "Ooh, look at the shiny objects." (focussing on camos, colors, executions and stuff like that), instead of getting the underlying foundation right.
