I find the Campaign so much more enjoyable, because I'm either alone or with 1 friend (I actually get to play with Derrame sometimes), but even when I play with friends we never play coordinated. I don't like to play that way, because to me the nature of the game is strangers vs strangers. I find that Attrition has a lot of coordinated play, so there is a lot getting shot in the side of the head or the back while you were winning a battle over one of their teammates face to face like a man. I also like the blend better in Campaign. I prefer if the teams are even, but more of a mix, where maybe you might have 1 or 2 veterans on boths sides, maybe 1 or 2 average players and 1 or 2 new players. It's also nice that you have maybe an extra 20 to 30 seconds between matches to select burn cards or chat. You also get to mix in some Hardpoint games. I just like the whole Campaign atmosphere much more than Attrition. If they could just fix it though so that it wouldn't keep jumping back to Refueling Raid it would be great.
Team play always better in fps, especially TF1. Only took 2 or 3 players to make a real squad and make a difference. I miss the "refueling raid" map and game. Always a favorite of mine!
If TF goes by the wayside, someone will create a similar game that is true to the spirit. Why would tjey not follow suit and milk a good thing?
You got that right my friend, because if no one else does it and even it takes me 10 years to get enough money to now buy the rights from EA to the original Titanfall, I will make a sequel to it the way it should have been done. It will maintain the core functionalities, mechanics, pilot/titan balance, situational awareness and atmosphere as much as possible, but everything will be jacked up a notch (the way it should have gone to enhance the uniqueness) rather than the wrong direction they took it by slowing titans down, weakening titans, shrinking maps and removing life from the world (all to make it more traditional FPS-like). My maps will be twice the size of TF1 maps, the titans will be twice as fast and twice as strong. My titans will be able to wallrun. My pilots will have interesting, fun and creative ways to get around the larger maps when not in titans. And I will maintain the pilot/titan balance by doubling pilots to 12 per team to fill up the larger maps, while limiting the number of faster titans allowed on battlefield at one time to 6 per team. If they don't want to make money on the epic uniqueness this will be, that's fine with me, I'll be happy to rake in all the dough when I make the most epic video game of all time.
