Hey, I got my Starwars CD first thing yesterday morning and have been impressed so far. All I have had time to do was the x-wing training. It appears to capture much of the fluidity of TF. BTW: nice to see Bruvas (@Bruvas ) under five minutes for the challange -- way to go buddy! Go any who have played more of it, do you ink EA has transferred some of the TF flavour to SWBF?
There's not as much clambering and running, but its certainly frantic in places! I'm a Star Wars nut, so I'm completely biased
Looks like fun Bruvas!!! It kind of reminds me of Ace (or is it Air) Combat I used to play some time ago. I may yet become a Star Wars fan looking at this game play your posting.
Looks kinda tasty, still aint pulled the trigger on ea access for a month just to try star wars out.. (Ace combat 2 on playstation was awesome)
I am enjoying the visuals and training and missions etc. Just dipped into multiplayer last night and it is lots of fun but mainly because of the visuals. I am bummed out that there is not more movement freedom. The slow plodding of these shooting games just kills me. Maybe later in the game there will be perks that compensate eg jet packs. For now I will continue to play but the whole time I am wishing at I was playing TF.
Was just reading about a glitch in SWBF that can make a player invincible. Anyone run into this... problem? It also said that some lucky sole had gotten 100 kills in 10 minutes. Just asking out of curiosity.
I've watched a video of it, but never ran into it. Not sure if its console / PC specific or both either, and I think it's only on 1 map. It'll be patched!
Just went a round on Fighter Squadron. We got their transport, we defended ours, and I knocked the stuffing out of them.... AND WE LOST??? Raging.
Awesome, find it much more of a messy firefight type game though (just complete and utter carnage on Star Wars, but it's cool) but it's just great to able to play Star Wars in any manner - love the game, jumping between Titanfall & this at the mo. Still a titanfall freak, don't think it would be easy to beat it imo.
Starting to really like it now, been playing lot's of the different modes than supremacy and walker assault, gives you a bit more time with lesser players to try out all the weapons and learn how to shoot some. Otherwise, it really is just like the movies - lazer bolts flying around everywhere and awesome sound effects!!!
