DirectX 11, That laptop may not have the power to run Titanfall, although it should make it at least to main page (older article from EA tech base). FIXING TITANFALL LAUNCH CRASHING ______________________________________________________________ Step 1 Disable firewall and antivirus: I would suggest that you try temporarily disabling any firewalls you have running on your system: - • Software firewalls can simply be turned off, usually by right clicking on the icons near your clock and selecting "Close" or "Exit". • Hardware firewalls should be bypassed by going from the computer directly to your modem, skipping any router you may have. Open Windows Firewall by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Security, and then clicking Windows Firewall. Click Turn Windows Firewall on or off. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. Click Off (not recommended), and then click OK. __________________________________________________________________ step 2 1. Hold down the Ctrl, Alt, and Delete keys at the same time and select task manager. 2. Click the "Processes" tab. 3. Click on the gray bar in the middle column that says User Name to sort by user name. 4. Do NOT select anything for SYSTEM, LOCAL SERVICE, or NETWORK SERVICE. 5. Click on anything besides EXPLORER and TASKMGR for this User Name or other user names. 6. Click on END PROCESS 7. Repeat these steps until only explorer.exe and taskmgr.exe are open for this user profile. ___________________________________________________________________ step 3 Delete Temporary Folder: 1.
