Titanfall 2 Collector's Edition Leaks
While we're all hyped for Titanfall 2 to be unveiled at EA Play, the Titanfall 2 collector's edition has leaked. A Polish retailer posted two editions earlier today & deleted them from the website shortly after.
It appears that Titanfall 2's collector's edition will come in an Uber & Standard edition. The images you see above showcase each version, and they both look pretty sick. The standard comes with a statue and the Uber edition comes with an actual replica helmet that you can wear!
Normally I'd peg these just as leaks and say I was 50/50 on them, but take a look at what Vince Zampella posted earlier today. Seems to pretty much confirm it!

EA Predicts Titanfall 2 Will Sell 10 Million Copies
With Titanfall 2 releasing in such a crowded window, I've been really curious as to how many copies the game will sell. I loved the first title, and playing Titanfall 2 at EA Play reaffirmed how much I love what Respawn Entertainment has done with this franchise.
In EA's recent financial call, they touched on the amount of copies they expect both Titanfall 2 & Battlefield 1 to sell. It seems that EA is being a little conservative for their Battlefield 1 estimate, and a bit more aggressive with their Titanfall 2 estimate.
Here's a snippet from the article:

You'll have to earn your titans in Titanfall 2
In Titanfall 1, you could easily just wait for a timer to tick down if you were having a bad game to earn your titan. Things look to be changing in Titanfall 2 according to Vince Zampella in a recent interview. Here's what he had to say around earning your titan in Titanfall 2:
However they changed the system,... -

Titanfall 2 Release Date News
Titanfall 2 Release Date Likely 2017?
We already know that there will be a Titanfall 2 single-player campaign, but we now have word on the Titanfall 2 release date. A developer from Respawn Entertainment recently commented on the game in an interview, and he mentioned that the game has been in development for a little over a year now.
The developer that the game should launch either late this year, or early next year. With that being said, it seems incredibly likely that a new Battlefield is launching this holiday season. That gives EA the perfect opportunity to launch Titanfall 2 somewhere between Jan 1st 2017 - March 31st 2017.
Here's the full context of the quote along with some information from EA's financial call:

Titanfall 2's Campaign to be "Science Meets Magic"
Titanfall 2's campaign to be "science meets magic"
Now that we know Titanfall 2 will feature a real story-driven campaign & not the situational levels we saw in the original, things are starting to get really intriguing for the sequel.
Jesse Stern, Titanfall 2's lead writer, recently had a few comments on the game's campaign. Stern said that Respawn is working hard to "deliver a vision of grand global colonial warfare retelling the story of the American Revolution and the American Civil War in space. We imagined the next generation of immigrants moving out to the new frontier of an inhabitable planet. Rather than taking a traditional sci-fi approach to that we wanted to look at how that would happen practically, what the ships would look like and with machines that were designed... -
Titanfall 2: Does it Need a Campaign?
Gamespot put out a video today that has a few of their staff go over the topic of Titanfall 2's campaign & does the game need it. There's some pretty cool points being made in the video, and I'm on the side of the game actually needing a proper campaign.

Titanfall 2 Pre-Orders Surface, Announcement soon?
If you've been waiting for the opportunity to pre-order Titanfall 2, then you may not have wait much longer. Pre-order box art for Titfanll 2 has surfaced in select Gamestop stores, however, it's not available to pre-order on their website.
Generally speaking, seeing pre-order box art for a game in a store like Gamestop means that an announcement is coming very soon. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Titanfall 2 announcement pop-up within the next 30 days, if not sooner since there's placeholder box art in the store.
When companies go as far to print placeholder box art for a technically unannounced game & put it on store shelves, it typically is followed by an announcement. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to see a Game Informer cover reveal happen for Titanfall 2.

Titanfall 2 release date will be either in November or December
Earlier today, EA listed Titanfall 2 to launch in its fiscal third quarter aka October through December of 2016. As we all saw recently, Battlefield 1 will be releasing on October 21st.. so it doesn't look like Respawn & EA would launch their shooter in the month of October.
Instead? I'm pretty confident that we'll see Titanfall 2's release date be revealed at EA Play to fall between November to December. My assumption is they'd target after Call of Duty: Infinite War, but before Thanksgiving/Black Friday. That'll allow them to capitalize on sales before COD (with BF1) & after COD (Titanfall 2), and then have plenty of people pick their games up during the holidays.
What do you guys think?
