Hemlock Nerf doesn't make sense to me.

    A 3 round burst to the upper quadrant would kill an enemy in true life 99% of the time.

    Today in a match.....I hit a dude square in the chest from just a short distance away......blaaap .....nothing.....he came straight at me and killed me via Melee.


    They make all these changes to weapons that just don't make sense...

    yes, i agree!

    it just doesn't makse sense, it's useless, a nerf in an already useless weapon!

    the bursts (shoots) are already too separated from each other, the pause is long , it's ok to kill an enemy with one hit, it's like 5 shoots from G2a rifle!

    Devotion, in the other hand, does needed a nerf

    and so does Legion's predator cannon,

    yes agreed, why nerf the gun just add a new gun to counter the bloody thing . jeezzz put in a new gun or bring back an old one with 3 round burst . but oh well this is respawn i guess this is the new norm .

    Yeah, I agree. I never agree with weakening something, just raise everything else to it's level if necessary.

    I haven't it played it since the nerf, I'm worried. It's the only gun I use, and has been since the first Titanfall.

    About the predator cannon nerf statement,
    I will agree. As someone who uses legion in the pubs, I think nerfing its ability to lock onto cloaked pilots and those who use stealth eject would be sufficient but I wouldent complain to much if they removed the hidden compartment perk.
    I do serious damage with that alone. If you hit your close range power shots it can be a near instant aimbot core even without overcore on. I do it everyday. Savage AF.

    Nerf ronins sword block.
    I'm fine with it being able to block 3 salvo cores in a single life but you should at least have to be facing that shit...
    It should not be able to block shots to the back...

    This is what happens.


    These Pilots don't have the skill to run around with this type of weapon. They need a spray and pray fully automatic weapon in order to do well.


    So.....they get mad and jealous when they get killed by it............then....they complain.


    Same thing happened with the Legion. By far the HARDEST Titan to accomplish on the battlefield...so people complain about it because they don't want to take the time to learn it,..

    Just for Shwartz and giggles the other day I ran with the Ronin. My god....are you serious? It's so fast and outrageously OP...not to mention the sword reach.....is just ridiculously....funny.....lol


    I just don't know who is/ are making these decisions......at Respawn.....

    Hemlock was my go to tactical. Now you have to land one of the three burst rounds in the head for a kill. At the same time, I could kill someone in two bursts when shooting them in the foot/ leg (think campers at bank A sitting on the rack @ AC playing BH). While at the same time the fully automatic 20 round burst of the alternator while sliding can target and kill me in a single trigger pull. So what was the difference between the Hemlocks previous single trigger pull kill and the alternators single trigger pull kill? Nothing then, but now, I have to land two and a head shot. Balanced????? wow...

    Responses (all responses to buff/ nurf whining) to the traditional FPS people that get knocked off their game play because they don't like a weapon should be challenged before consideration with some preset logic that applies to all. Something principle based.

    Start with a few simple principles:
    "Is this consistent in all applications?"
    Example from above: Ronin sword blocking ability: Should it be able to block 95% of all incoming damage all day and all night no matter how much it is used without cooldown? Well it's titan armor can't stand it without degrading and loss of protection. (now I'm in the Metals industry so I know a bit about different materials, this could pass a physics principle test, but it would still degrade with use). Should it be able to block shots that are coming from the back side? Well sure, if it knows to block them. If the block is a complete surface area protection, 360 deg. motion, then make it one... but how does it do anything else while it is doing that?

    Alas, it doesn't matter as this is not important. They are not making changes to make things better, realistic or fair. They are making them for political, sales driven reasons. (Although I wonder why they have not worked on the other prime titan releases that generate revenue, but I'm a business guy. So my opinion may be way off.)

    So with that said, I think all complaints about "balance" issues should be started with this question: "Well, what weapon do you want others to kill you with?"

    One last note and I will get off my box, I don't really care that others don't like it when I kill them with a frag grenade (took out four guys charging the field last night on Meadow with one frag. And it was all luck, but their stupidity.) I only care that the pilot is dead. So it will be my fault when the nurf the frag. :confused:
