I know all of you have a fav sci -fi movie that you just want to watch over and over, no matter how many times you have seen it. So go ahead and post your favorites. Lets see what type of variety we all like.

Mine is: The Day The Earth Stood Still. (NO! Not the really badly done Keeanu Reeves attempt, but the truly classic morality play one from 1951.) It also had , IMHO, one of the baddest-kick-ass-robots of all time, GORT.

Whenever its on, I have to watch!

.....................klaatu barrada nikto....................(uh, just watch the film!)

I have so many actually, of course there's the classics like Star Wars and the Alien movies that I can watch repeatedly. One other that really stands out for me is District 9.

Have heard about District 9 before. I may look it up and rent it.

Hmm, I like District 9, but that's all I can think of.

District 9 started pretty slow (imo), but I really enjoyed the complete experience.

    Bumping here.

My all-timer is Blade Runner. Just love the atmosphere in that one. Even own an original cinema poster from launch.
District 9 was nice, have to watch that one again. Also a fan of Terminator (1 & 2). The Day The Earth Stood Still sounds great, I have it on my watchlist on Headweb, should probably go for it soon!

2001: A Space Odyssey is one of my favorites, I can always find more and more to like about the movie every time I watch it.

    Daisy, Daisy,
    Give me your answer do!
    I'm half crazy,
All for the love of you!
It won't be a stylish marriage,
    I can't afford a carriage
But you'll look sweet upon the seat
Of a bicycle built for two.

    RIP HAL 9000

Of course Empire Strikes Back. Blade Runner was a favorite for a long time. Wish they would make a sequel to it.
