Origin PC - Let the Preload begin @ 49.99GB!

Wow, that is crazy to kill the hard drive's storage amount. I hope I would purchase a hard drive with over 1 TB on my new rig before ready for playing the Titanfall!

 

I really don't understand where all those gigs are coming from. They certainly could have had a high res texture download or something separate! It just seems absurd.

I agree. Even BF4 was not this big . I wonder why this game is so big.

Origin says it unlocks at 9:00 PM PST on Monday, which is obviously midnight Eastern. Anyone have experience with origin launches to say if they'll hold to this?

 

BF4 launch was shaky but I was able to play as soon as the game launch so most likely we will 2

Why is the size of the game that big. For a MP only game I expected the size to be a bit lower. I'm about to pre order it on Origin once money from PP clears.

Is it really that big or just some glitch of some kind.

I got a 30Mbps download speed. I download stuff at about 3.6MB/s. Even with that speed it will take awhile.

 

Looks like it's the VPK files.
