I just watched the first Terminator for no apparent reason on Netflix. The cheesy effects are funny but the nudie scene was hawt

I've watched 'hot fuzz' and 'world's end' yesterday, both with Nick Frost and Simon Pegg.

    great fun, I highly recommend

Haha yeah the effects are insanely awesome when you watch it now compared to today's standards XP

#2 and Salvation are my favourite Terminator films =)

Definitely agree, comedy genius. Loved Shaun of the Dead but I think Hot Fuzz went one step better, heh may even watch it tonight now after talking about it :p

Haven't seen World's End yet, heard bad things/poor reviews, but would you rate it then @Unuseful_Idiot?

Full Metal Jacket is pure win.

From those three, the World's End is my favourite. It has some bad momments, but at the end (nomen omen) it's a really funny movie. Sure, they repeat themselves(zombie-like creatures in World's End), but jumping-over-the-fence gag makes me laugh everytime. And I just love the ending

I checked out the new Robocop movie. It was.... it was okay. I wouldn't compare it too much to the original even though it tried a bit too hard to remake the first story, I thought it should have been a different person, with a slightly different backstory. I'm glad it ended the way it did. Sam L Jackson did his job, let's leave it at that.

Then I watched Love (2011) starring Gunner Wright (voice and face of Isaac in Dead Space). It was... quite beautiful, stylish, and quite taking at the very end. I wish it had more sci-fi elements to it than just hazy metaphors seen through insanity-goggles. But I did like it. Also, Gunner Wright, damnit.
