While I loved the original game, I'm really happy to hear that Titanfall 2 will have a single-player campaign. The first game really didn't tell you too much about the noir or story, so I'm happy to hear that we'll be learning more about the Titanfall universe in the sequel. IGN has a story up talking about Titanfall 2's campaign, and I've taken a few pieces of the story below: In addition, there's a spin-off TV series being developed in the Titanfall universe! Lots of great news for Titanfall fans. Game should be releasing in early 2017.
Can't wait to see what they have in store for a dedicated campaign. Loving the sleek new design by the way (although I'm not a huge fan of the font, #calibriftw)
Loving it! SP campaign sounds amazing. But wait guys! We already have a SP campaign in Titanfall! It's called smart pistol in the campaign playlist! Only available when the gamemode is attrition though!
God I hope they look at the smart pistol for TF2. It's WAY underpowered at the moment and requires too much precision to function properly. Maybe give it the power of the Kraber, the fire rate of the CAR, the magazine of the MG and it automatically gives you ghost and Stim at the same time. Here's to hoping gents (and gentleladies)
Still not enough. Did you even think of how bad of an Anti-Titan weapon it is? Unless you rodeo it, it gets outclassed by every AT weapon. It isn't fair that's it so weak against titans when you aren't rodeoing, yet AT weapons like that no skill charge rifle can easily ONE SHOT pilots AND still be an AT weapon!
My god, you're right. What d'ya reckon? A non-charge shot as powerful as the charge rifle that auto locks onto titan critical points and by-passes shields?
What if they have auto eject on then? You need to get them out of the doom state and secure the kill. Wait... wait... Why does the ARC CANNON, a TITAN weapon, have the ability to goose PILOTS out of the air? Shouldn't the PILOT weapon make it easy to goose pilots?
Ha ha, you know what? I can't wait for TF2 - and not for the game, but for the spike is SP posts hitting the forums in a big way. I think I have about 12 negatives against me, the majority of which came from defending the SP in these threads
The majority of my downvotes also came from the SP threads. Downvotes are so rare here, then you dive into that hell hole and BOOM 10 dislikes in a single day! We need @Sliq here... balance out the Smart Pistol OP threads with Smart Pistol UP threads!

Yes, @Sulq . Damn, he might as well be Sliq considering his responses! Hopefully he gets an xbox one, since the last time I asked him what console he had. he said 'I'd rather be wearing designer clothes with a Xbox 360 than Walmart with an Xbox One' or something to that effect. Never know when he'll drop by, but's it's always fun when he does!
I'm sure these forums are gonna have an influx of new members after EA Play. As far as the campaign goes, I can't wait. MP is always #1 for me but I absolutely LOVE the story of Titanfall and it's gonna be awesome to dive into a dedicated campaign.
Looking forward to some fun playing a real campaign (one of the few things IMO that Titanfall lacked) on T2.
As other people have pointed out.. it doesn't specifically say that it's single player and technically Titanfall had a campaign. I hope it's not the same MP/Campaign type of thing and it's a dedicated SP campaign.
