Well CTF is ruined until this is over. Hope you guys enjoy 6 man teams grinding kills while holding onto the enemy flag all game.
This doesn't mean the game mode is ruined? it may even be better cause people are going to want to get the win so they will play the game for the main point get the flags. I'm going to give it a try at least. This is a new game with a lot of things to explore
6 man teams spawn raping isn't a ruined game mode? No one will be going for the flag caps. They will just keep racking up points and trying to prolong the game.
High scores in CTF are ranked by caps, then returns. Kills are irrelevant unless they change something.
Well, my nightly squad does this as is... We usually get 3 quick rally caps in 2-3 minutes. Then repeat for the next round until 5 caps. Then we just hold flag all game while we have a commanding 5-0 lead until the timer runs out. Rarely losing obviously. - TYPØ
You think you could beat a 6 man team keeping you in spawn all game not allowing you near their flag? They would win, obviously. Not saying this ever happened, actually made a joke and everyone is getting their panties in a bunch.
If this hypothetical group of 6 people existed, who were able to spawn trap another 6 people, they could win in any manner they wanted to. Any game mode is "ruined" when players are unable to leave their spawn or return a flag. It has less to do with the 6 doing the trapping, and more to do with the lack of imagination, coordination and skill on part of the players allowing themselves to be trapped.
