So this is what Titanfall looks like on my old Dell XPS M1730 laptop after June 26 update. Specs: Intel Core 2 Extreme X9000 2.8 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 2 x GT9800M (yes, I know SLI is not supported in Titanfall). Here are GPU details from NVidia Control panel: Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit (Service Pack 1) DirectX version: 11.0 GPU processor: GeForce 9800M GT Driver version: 337.88 Direct3D API version: 10 CUDA Cores: 96 Core clock: 500 MHz Shader clock: 1250 MHz Memory data rate: 1598 MHz Memory interface: 256-bit Total available graphics memory: 2303 MB Dedicated video memory: 512 MB GDDR3 System video memory: 0 MB Shared system memory: 1791 MB Video BIOS version: 62.92.2C.02.04 IRQ: 16 Bus: PCI Express x16 Device Id: 10DE 060B 019C1028 GPU processor: GeForce 9800M GT Driver version: 337.88 Direct3D API version: 10 CUDA Cores: 96 Core clock: 500 MHz Shader clock: 1250 MHz Memory data rate: 1598 MHz Memory interface: 256-bit Total available graphics memory: 2303 MB Dedicated video memory: 512 MB GDDR3 System video memory: 0 MB Shared system memory: 1791 MB Video BIOS version: 62.92.2C.02.05 IRQ: 17 Bus: PCI Express x16 Device Id: 10DE 060B 019C1028 Game runs perfectly on my other gaming PC with more decent specs. On laptop I just wanted to look at my loadouts and Titan decals, but as it turned out it's almost unplayable right now. "Almost", because I managed to get a random kill with a grenade with graphics like this lol. Honestly I don't care if game has this glitch on my old laptop, but there may be other players who have be better systems and who still experience this issue. BTW I'm glad to see that developers still work on their game and try to add some new features and design elements!
I have exactly the same issue after 1.0.4.11 patch, was fine before new patch. I guess it's the new patch forced our old video cards running Titanfall on DX 11 mode maybe?
Same Problems here... Befor the update everythings works just fine, now it looks like the screenshots in the first post...
Experiencing exactly the same issue, I´ve tried changing my nVidia settings, disabling, enabling, combining all the options, but nothing seems to be a solution.... Interesting is the fact, that when I turn my echo vision on, all the echoing renders the display into proper graphics for a half second, then crappy again; also darker maps and parts of the map are slightly better, yet still unplayable. Hope there´ll be some fix soon.
Ran into the same problem today after I updated, anyone figured out if this is actually because of DX10 cards?
hi guys im new here, i just got the game, i installed it and i have the same problem. i cant play the with this graphics. is there any fix to this problem? my pc is: PentiumG G3220 3.0Ghz, 8GB DDR3 Ram, GeForce 9800GT. thanks in advance. PS: i can play the "training mode" and the textures and graphics are just fine, but when i go to Multiplayer the thing just got wrong.
I have had the same problem running two 9800 gtx+ in SLI. I turned the SLI off, repaired the game, re-installed the game, updated my drivers, and went down into the game files and re-installed Direct x. Not only did that not work it made it worse, now the game crashes to desktop when I try and enter a match.
Titanfall has never actually supported anything other than dx11, you are all lucky to have played this long.
I guess that is true, but it seems weird that they don't support Dx9 if the minimum graphics card requirement is a GeForce 8800GT listed on the actual game in origin.
I'm having the same issue here. Training mode, everything is smooth and fine. Going into a game though, I run into what everyone else has posted about. Operating System: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit (6.3, Build 9600) (9600.winblue_gdr.140330-1035) Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9650 @ 3.00GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.0GHz Memory: 6144MB RAM Available OS Memory: 6142MB RAM DirectX Version: DirectX 11 Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 Dedicated Memory: 995 MB Driver File Version: 9.18.0013.4043 (English) (upgrading to the Beta driver did not help at all) Driver Version: 9.18.13.4043 Driver Date/Size: 6/12/2014 I've turned off V-Sync, Anti-Aliasing x2, everything in game set as low as it can go, and nothing helped. Game played fine, and was able to hit Gen 8 Level 50 (almost Gen 9) before the patch. So many game hours in. Patch hits, and bam, my graphics make the game unplayable.
Having the same problem as everyone else, Nvidia GTX 260, I have been playing this game for a while now (Gen 6 level 28) can't believe that I am actually looking at spending a couple of hundred just to play a single game :-(
Same issue here on my AMD Mobility Radeon HD 4850, seems to me its the water rendering option they added in this update, whats even stranger though is that if I go to redo the training it works fine.
I posted a response in the other thread, but in the interest of having everyone's info here: Same exact issue here. Geforce GTS250 with 1 gig. I've tried many different video settings and none help. I also loaded the latest beta driver (340.43) and no change. Practice works fine, but the game is basically unplayable. Windows 7 home premium 64 bit (service pack 1) Intel dual core processor E7400 (2.8ghz) - 4 gig ram DirectX 11.0
SIR PLEASE!, I know this is a dump from DXinfo, but the 285 is a dx10 card, Just like ALL the other people with this problem. ALL of you, please upgrade, consoles have more power than your PC's. Praise Gaben so that he may help the fallen.
I am having the exact same issue as everyone above. Also, like everyone above I have an older graphics card. However, we have all been playing the game, so it proves our systems can handle the game. It would just be nice if they were working on a fix so that they can support all the people who want to play the game.
Stop being an ass marthi, not everyone can afford to upgrade their machines...especially for 1 game. Mines the same, gtx260, worked fine before the patch, and now this. They should sort it out from their side!
Try not to be as ignorant as you sound. 2xx series came out 5 years ago, it runs on dx10. 400 series and onward is dx11, The 400 series was released in 2010. For the past 4 years, you could have upgraded. Instead you are here complaining that your 5 year old graphics card cant run a game. If there weren't 40 of you having a pity party, I would buy you a new card myself, coming from any mid to high range 2xx series. I would go for 660+, or 750+. An alternate solution for most games, is to force dx9 mode. I am quite sure Titanfall supports DX9 as it was released for Xbox 360, which is dx9. DX10 is satan, and therefore is likely not supported.
This guy is retarded, I'm running DX11 and still having the these problems. My fps is fine but I'm getting no real textures/colors.
