    Can someone please explain to me why the in game chat is not working on the Xbox One. It has not for some time now and numerous attempts at contacting EA about it were pointless.

    Im on one of the US north servers right noiw and it will not work for anyone in game

    Try hard-resetting your Xbox. Hold power until it shuts all the way off and then turn it back on.

    Mine works fine im from Kentucky don't know which server I'm on tho how can you tell?

    I'm pretty sure it's in the bottom right corner of the screen in the main menu.

    I have hard reset, assigned a static IP for my Xbox, made sure UPnP was working, made sure the NAT was open and almost everything else you can think of. It works fine with everything but this game... I blame it on the overpowered Arc Cannon. My userrname is EmperorKilgore, if one of it works for want to shoot me a a friend invite I will try to join you in game sometime and see if it works. I have the little mic symbol next to my name in game but no chat :(

    This may be psychological rather than fact, but I always make sure my headset is plugged in BEFORE I turn on my controller. Also, have you updated the firmware on your controller recently?

    lol, yeah. Plug in the controller, go to settings and it's in there. The newest one connects the control in 2 seconds. Brilliant!

    I'm finding chat a lot better now. NAT settings can be a ball ache, especially for BT users it seems here in the UK. I like the fact it gives you indicators now rather than leave you hanging not knowing what's going on.
